88432 Does anyone remember the name of the website we've used in past challenges to see if a book cover meets the color requirement?

Ugh I know! At least game of Thrones has a great tv series to enjoy, but I really want that last book. I really enjoyed both books in the Kingkiller Chronicles and am slowly going through companion pieces. I just got Rogues on audio and know there's a story about Bast.

88432 Oh man Tati, it's 28 F here and is so cold it hurts to go outside. I wish we could average out our weather and each feel comfortable outside!

88432 Awesome, thanks Deanna. Is it ok to start listing books we plan on reading?

88432 Tower Teams was so much fun, I was on Gryffindor/Team McGonagall. I think UNO is my favorite challenge - or I have been brainwashed by my kid who is addicted to the game in real life.

88432 Hi all! I'm Jan, living in New York, USA with my husband, our 6 y/o daughter, Harper, and our perpetually pathetic faced basset hound Matilda. This is my second time playing UNO, I love this game! I tend to read across all genres but my favorites are contemporary lit and fantasy. I am a fan of Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot but haven't actually read any Miss Marple - I will fix this immediately :)

88432 Hey all! There is one book that I'm not going to be able to finish for the mini-challenge :( I'm going to take Rabbit Cake out of the category "with an edible item on the cover". Sorry I couldn't fit it in! Also I added in my finished date for If The Creek Don't Rise and it didn't turn the line green, not sure what happened there but it is finished.

Kaylee - Should I still add my last 3 books (The Big Four, Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library, and Widow Basqiat) on the main spreadsheet or does it only matter if I mark them off on the mini-challenge sheet since it looks like we already have enough books to finish the game

88432 I am determined to finish Swing Time so we can use it for a yellow book but I am reallllllly not digging it. It isn't the worst book I have ever read but I find it dull and plodding. Even when something is happening it doesn't feel exciting. The narrator is great but the story is lacking for me. Luckily I'm also reading The Virgin Suicides, which is a gorgeously written book, and can switch to the audio for Stars Above for something a bit more fun.

Good luck with your move Shamber!"

Yes, I always uncheck that box that excludes the background so it gets the color of the entire cover.

88432 Rachel - I am going to move Before We Were Yours to slot #12 for a book first published on the 6th of any month so I can add Swing Time to slot #3, where there is a party. Swing Time doesn't apply to any of the open slots so I figured I'd shuffle a bit to get it in there. Hope that's ok :)

88432 Ok, I think I see what you're saying Rachel - so the books we currently have listed under the bonus are incorrect since they were used in the main part of the mini challenge? If that's the case we need to edit the main mini challenge since the books currently listed in the bonus will be listed in two slots incorrectly. Am I understanding this right? Man this is a rough challenge, it's hard to get to those bonus points

88432 I'm reading Swing Time right now and am hoping to add it to the mini, I'm just not sure if it applies to any open slots yet. Hoping for a road trip or a haiku to pop up.
