88432 Oooh, coloured cards...

I've got Yellow 9 and Green 7. When Stars Collide (Chicago Stars, #9) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips and Someone to Honor (Westcott, #6) by Mary Balogh . Also blue 6 First Star I See Tonight (Chicago Stars, #8) by Susan Elizabeth Phillips

And also can take one of the small town slots for the February Mini.

88432 Do we need any more small towns for the mini challenge?

88432 I know I should know this... but if we start books this month but don't finish till next month they can be used for the March cards?

88432 If no one is reading for Locked Room I can read Death on the Nile (Hercule Poirot, #18) by Agatha Christie . I saw the movie the other day and enjoyed it. I haven't read it for about 40 years and half way through it all came flooding back. Isn't the old brain amazing. I'm sure I've got a heap of Agatha Christie's in a box somewhere I can dig my old copy out, if needed.

Sally, we are going via your old home town for 1.5 days and then on to Kununurra on the 1st May. We were originally going last September, then changed to later in May and then my sister's work got in the way.. so this was the only time left.

Stacey, you will love Ireland. Been a long time since my visit in 2006 but lots to see and do, especially if you like green rolling fields, stunning lakes, wild coastline, castles, Celtic crosses. Oh and did I mention the pubs, LOL..

88432 Have a great time, Karen and Sally for next week.

I am overjoyed because finally Western Australia is opening up the borders YAY so my Kimberly trip with my sister in April/May is ON.

Sorry Sally, not that one . I've read the other one The House in the Cerulean Sea by T.J. Klune though.

88432 So for the mini... City or small town? I don't mind either, maybe small town just a fraction more but either is good.

It's usually two weeks out from the end of each month. So soon I'm guessing. Love me a mini challenge.

88432 I love going to our local Four Frogs Creperie and having the crepes with Belgian Chocolate, vanilla ice cream and strawberries. Yummy. 😜

Off to make dinner now, sadly not pancakes or crepes but crumbed lamb cutlets and home made chips. And some salad to attempt to make it healthy, LOL.

88432 I totally understand that Sammy. It also drives my nuts when mid way through series books come out in different sizes so they don't line up neatly on the shelf. Or change from MMPB to Hardcover first release. Then you've got to wait years for the matching paperback.. if it matches at all! '😒

No worries, I'll save it for possible next month.

Nice haul Sonia. That Librarian obviously isn't a Goodreads Challenge Reader, LOL. I thought I read a lot till I got on here, some people are incredible. They must read in their sleep! I can only wish.. Pesky thing called "real life" gets in the way.

That looks good, Karen. I'm really into historical mysteries at the moment, love Sebastian St Cyr and the Bronte Sisters Mysteries (which is very appropriate considering out team name. )

I'm a bit slow starting off reading because.. grand children and having fun with them. Took them to the movies, the first time I've ventured to Macquarie, Karen for about two years. It was very deserted only one other family watching Sing 2 which was a lot of fun. Should be back to full steam reading over the weekend.

88432 Finally finished my first for Green 1 - Deal Breaker (Myron Bolitar, #1) by Harlan Coben .

I wanted to start this series for ages and enjoyed book 1 and will read on. 4 stars

88432 I have possums that frequently run across our roof at ungodly hours and make a big racket. We had a huge blue tongue lizard living near our pool filter pump which I had to avoid when operating but he was gorgeous. I can deal with all wildlife... except SNAKES. Hate them, with a passion. We have a lot at the farm, I'm fine if they stay out in the paddock but near the house.. all bets are off! The enter at their peril.

What is everyone reading for their first book?

This is mine.. A Lady's Formula for Love (The Secret Scientists of London, #1) by Elizabeth Everett
