April mini has finally been posted and starts in less than 24 hours!! :)

@Jill violet is purple and for other colour covers different shades always work too so I don't see how it wouldn't work here as long as it adds up to 50+ %.

I can take an Overload in orange, I just haven't decided which book to go with yet. Either The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life or The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time probably (yes the curious incident does have orange audio covers)

jk I just heard the new Hunger Games book came out yesterday so chances are I might finish it tomorrow already hahaha

and yes I will be travelling for fun, thanks! I will be visiting a friend in the Netherlands and see a couple more friends at a concert in Amsterdam :)

Do you remember at what point you stopped? I only started watching it less than two years ago, and stopped during season 7 in December 2023. It's wild that I might finally finish it this month or next, I'm about to finish season 9!

At least half of the book needs to take place there.

Finished my book (last one we seem to have needed this month - thanks for keeping the mini spot open for me :)) and saw that our cards for next month have already been dealt!!

What are y'all's thoughts on these book cover colours?

Books have to be used in the month they're finished so there's no banking books. You could however start a book now and finish it next month, that's possible. We should be dealt next month's cards in the next couple of days so you can see which colour cards will be needed next.

Since we still need so many Reverses (and I'm sure there'll be many more to come in the next two rounds) may I suggest using the Draw 2 in Hand 1 for two Reverses instead of the two 4's? I don't think the letter F is as hard to come by.

Pretty sure they don't as they don't (usually at least) have any speaking parts. And barking obviously does not count hah :D

Hi everyone, I'm Christina (she/her) from Austria.
I've been doing UNO since (just checked) 2016 so this is actually my 10th year participating, wild!
I read a lot of different genres, especially for bonus points (which isn't the case here but for other team challenges), but I've come to realize I need to be more selective about my reading since most books don't excite me anymore and 2024 was a bit of a meh reading year for me.
A few favourites though:

unfortunately the 'weird'/fun and mostly unknown animal theme already happened a few years ago but do yourself a favour and look up SEA SQUIRTS, some of them constantly look like they're surprised little blobs and I love that about them
