88432 I'll probably start Tell Me Lies after I finish up my current books (so tomorrow or Mon). If it doesn't work for expensive car, the blurb mentions nosy neighbors...

88432 Do either of these work for expensive car on cover?

I loved this book (although I will admit it's style isn't for everyone) if someone wants to read for fingerprint on the cover.

88432 Any chance we can get the March spreadsheet setup like Feb for row 1-3? Where it shows all possibilities for each card and freezes the pane?

88432 We need more book talk, so what was everyone's favorite read of Feb?

For me it was a tie between:
Miss Frost Chills The Cheater (Jayne Frost, #6) by Kristen Painter which seemed like a final book of the series, but loved that we finally got to stay at the North Pole and see what it was like.

To Seduce A Siren (Southern Sanctuary, #4) by Jane Cousins which had an interesting take on the bond between a Siren and her rock as well as a psychotic vampire queen with a crush on the hero.

88432 This is hurting my brain...

88432 Well we get 3 guesses. So one should be Donna and one Elaine.

Any chance people were working together to do this somehow?

The lawyer didn't have a key until after he was found dead. Plus there were three deadbolts, which only unlock from the inside.
Feb 28, 2019 12:18PM

88432 What simple search will prove it? Search of the people? He already searched the room and didn't find anything.

Tubert shook his head. “I’m afraid not. Succinylcholine is poorly absorbed in the intestines. Someone had to inject it. Depending on the dose, death could have occurred within seconds.”

“But that’s impossible!” said Donna. “How could someone have done that if the room was securely locked from the inside?” “That’s the question, isn’t it?” replied Tubert. “But I’m pretty sure I know who did it and how. And a simple search will prove it.”

We must be on the right track then!!!

Why is Elaine's job important to know? We don't know what Jack does and only know about Sam because ease of access to the drug.

But if it was the large dose they say, would he have been able to go down 4 flights of stairs for dinner than back up for bed before being affected?

88432 Why did Elaine have the letter? Wouldn't the lawyer have taken it originally when they discovered it?

I think the how would be how was the toxin administered?
Feb 28, 2019 12:04PM

88432 Ok, maybe it is Donna. Why would she know there were 3 deadbolts originally? She didn't live there.
Feb 28, 2019 11:59AM

88432 I think this is the part where the policeman figured it out. But I'm not sure what the splintered hole from deadbolts means.

Turning to examine the door, Tubert saw three arrays of splintered holes on the doorjamb.

“There used to be three deadbolts there,” explained Donna.

“The police had to use a battering ram to get in.”

“Daddy locked himself in every night,” said Elaine.

Maybe it is the lawyer. She found the letter in the desk. The question is how did she kill him? Nothing states she was around the day he died (he was going to see her on Monday to change his will).
Feb 28, 2019 11:36AM

88432 Well I just read over the story again and realized we get three guesses and need more than just a name

Then the captain / co-captain needs to PM the Pixie account with answers to the following questions (don't forget to include your team name!!):
- Who killed Faustus Dutton?
- How was it done?
- What was it about the killer that gave him or her away?

Your team get up to three guesses

88432 So am I missing something in these clues? They don't seem very helpful.

I would like to know which child wanted to never sell the collection.

Based on basically nothing, I still say the daughter did it.
