it must be the satisfaction of not only finishing a book but helping the group =P

I'm sorry I wasn't so active during UNO and thank you all for your participation
see you around!!

I finished my book too, so we're done with our hands. Thank you all!
We're only waiting for vian and Ashley, but we have until monday =)

Also, it's been noted by the mods that some teams misunderstood task 17, the title has to have the word Guide in it, so Second summoning wouldn't work.
Does anyone have a book with the word Guide in the title?

I finally got on the computer and not for work hahaha
I updated both SS and we're missing only 2 books to finish our hands:
1
7
And for the Mini, we're only waiting for:
Task 2 - Bangkok 8 (vian)
Task 9 - The Jazmin Throne (Ashley)
I should finish El Juego del Ángel tomorrow, and it would work for the 7 card, if nobody takes it first haha.
Good night!

Checking in too! I had a very busy weekend and week, buuut, I've managed to read and I'm almost done with Reina de Sombras.
I also started El Juego del Ángel in audio, I believe I'll be reading it the whole month because I only listen to it when I'm training or cleaning hahahaha

Yes! It lasted 10 hours in some places. from 15:30 to 23:00 in my case. I think overall they fixed it pretty quickly haha
I had to walk from work to my inlaws house (5km, 1 hour) because my house was too far, there were no street or traffic lights. There was a lot of people walking because the subway wasn't working and the buses were full.
There was no internet or phone signal either, it made kids play outside, it was surprising how many people were on parks, walking their dogs haha, that was the bright side.
I believe there were no bigger problems in hospitals.
I believe most chileans are prepared for emergencies like this, we tend to be prepared in case of earthquakes =)
For the 2010 earthquake (8,8 magnitude) I remember being 5 days without energy, we had to ask our neirbouhrgs for help so we didn't loose frozen food haha

Yesterday the energy system in Chile failed and there was a total blackout, almost the entire country lost their energy and communication.
Now eveything's ok =)
Therefore, I'm not sure if I can finish my book by friday, but I moved some books and we should be fine.
Maybe it can work for next month's cards

Now I'm at Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve and the Hotel (Nothofagus) only has internet outside the room hahaha, but it's beautiful (I'm coming back to Santiago con the 17th)
My vote is for:
Princess Leia, R2D2 & C3PO, Yoda, Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine, Jabba the Hutt

I'm in the south of Chile, Licán Ray with the Calafquen lake and it's beautiful and less hot hahaha
I started We own tonight by TK Leigh, I think it'll be a quick read

in here doesn't snow, unless you live in the south, like Coyhaique or Punta Arenas
but now is summer and in Santiago there are over 32°C everyday 🥵

I say it's blue =P

I'm Paula (cocaptain) and I'm from Santiago, Chile, my native language is spanish, so you'll see english and spanish books in my shelves.
I'm 34 years old (on may I'll turn 35), I'm a chemical engineer and work on mining and environmental consultancy as a project manager (it's been crazy, I have a team of 21 people working under me).
My favorite color is blue =)
I'm recently married (december 14) so we're only 2 at my house hahaha.
I read almost any genre, but historical fiction and fantasy are my favorites, also I like to make videos about books on youtube (in spanish).
This is my 10th UNO, and is the challenge that got me hooked on team challenges too haha. I'm excited for this new version (i watched Guardians of the Galaxy, but I need to watch it again =P
