88432 Ashleigh, did you know that SCYTHE is in development with Universal? Sera Gamble is writing the script!

And Pieter, I have good news for you too... Dry is on the fast track with Paramount.

I hope they make a tv show from Scythe.

You can still follow what books need to be read because the captains use the books that have been read (every few days usually) to fill the main SS (so you still have a visual). And don't worry all books are used in the end :)

After all it doesn't matter what system we use, all that maters is to have fun reading and enjoying UNO to the max. Amelia, you'll see that by the time the mini challenge is out (in the middle of February) we'll have covered almost all gaps.

I'm starting with Enemies by Tijan. What about you, guys?!

To avoid this kind of situation I insisted on the first SS. As I said before it's made unnecessarily complicated.

You should. This series is awesome and all books are connected, it would be a shame not to read them all.

I will for every book, now I'm just planning.

88432 Ok then, I'm gonna use it for Yellow 8 :)

88432 Last year we used a similar book cover for yellow but we got disqualified because it was 47% yellow on Tin Eye, even if we all agreed it looked yellow.

And about the SS, maybe it's easier for you as captains but I don't think it will be for the team. But hey, I'm not here to argue, just want to read and have fun, it was my opinion, you proceed as you wish.

88432 Love Her or Lose Her (Hot & Hammered, #2) by Tessa Bailey

I was so sure this would fit the yellow card, but TinEye says otherwise :(

88432 I think you make this unnecessarily complicated...

88432 I think this system won't work for the best. When I played with other teams previously, we had a SS similar to the first one (were I first added my books), were every member put down the books that they read and all the cards that book covers. So, in the end, the captain and co-caps arranged the final SS so all the spots were covered.

88432 I haven't find team challenges that go for the entire year! I'm doing the A-Z Word Challenge, and PopSugar Challenge that last the entire year, but those are individual challenges...

88432 What other challenges are you doing?!
Jan 27, 2020 02:51AM

88432 I plan to start with Scythe by the time of our first mini-challenge! I heard only good things about this series!

88432 I'll read for Red 4:

Orientation Week (Breakbattle Academy #0.5) by Ruby Vincent

It's easier to follow how many cards a book can fit so the captain and co-caps can fill the Team SS and do the necessary adjustments.

88432 Can we start using the planning SS?
Jan 24, 2020 01:12AM

88432 So, if I remember correctly for Reverse we have to read a book that another team member has read already, right?
Jan 23, 2020 11:49AM

88432 So, today I was looking at our first hand and I found some books that I plan to read in February that work for the colored cards:

The Studying Hours (How to Date a Douchebag, #1) by Sara Ney works for Blue 1 Blue 6

King of the Causeway (King, #9.5) by T.M. Frazier works for Green 2

88432 Hello! My name is Andreea and I'm from Romania. This is my second time playing UNO. I read romance, fantasy, erotica, contemporary, HR etc. it all depends off my mood. I'm excited for the new friends in this team. I hope we'll have fun during this challenge.

88432 Well damn, 2 yellow cards already... I have to start searching in my library for those. Love the team names :)
