Maybe I tolerated the narrator because I had her at 2x's the speed, LOL! We live out in a pretty rural area here in Texas and at school we have FFA where the kids raise farm animals. This year my son had a goat. He was totally cute and acted just like a dog, and we had none of that nasty peeing in their mouth thing... gross! Anyhow , I really enjoyed the book and her learning about raising animals and living off the land. Yet, I prefer my technologies ;D
Oh, and I did love the animal names too!

Lol, as I got more into the story I was able to increase the speed. By the end I was at 2X. It was good story, started somewhat slow but picked up towards the middle :)
