88432 Hi Elizabeth! Congratulations šŸŽ‰ on starting your PhD, where will you be moving?

88432 Hi Team! I'm co-captain Trinia, hopefully Suzanne's right hand lady ;D lol! We are super excited for this round and can't wait to meet you all! Although I do recognize a few of you from other games so not everyone is new.

I live in Texas with my family. I have 2 seniors graduating this year and a junior, so soon to be an empty nester! wow, time flies.
As Suzanne said I'm a Hand Therapist/ Occupational Therapist. Soon to be looking to return to the work force (got to pay for college somehow!) . My youngest is considering a Math career, so there's another connection with my brave Captain ;)

I love all genres, mostly thrillers , mystery and horror. But find I am a romantic at heart . I am constantly listening to Audiobooks and when I'm not I'm on my Kindle. This is my 3rd or 4th time playing UNO.

Can't wait to get this party started! Looking forward to having fun playing UNO!

88432 Thanks Kaylee! I appreciate all of the work you put into being Captain. It can be a tedious job at times😊
Enjoy your summer! It’s almost here!!!!

88432 Yes Diane, we are finished at the end of April :) I would still post any books in case we need to switch anything around last minute .

88432 Ok y'all , since I am now color cover paranoid. Can we confirm this is PURPLE?

The Queen's Poisoner (Kingfountain, #1) by Jeff Wheeler

Tineye confirms >70% Violet... (Purple)

88432 Ingeborg if you are not planning on reading Devil's consort, I think I can read The Queen's Poisoner (Kingfountain, #1) by Jeff Wheeler for purple. Tineye has it at 58ish%

How are we on the main tasks? Looks like we're only m..."

Yes, Looks like we needs a couple of 3's and 4's
and for the mini challenge:
That crazy PURPLE cover (? Ingeborg with Devil's Consort by Anne O'Brien )
read a book with a male lounging on a bed on the cover

Do you think this can cover the sunglasses on the cover task?"

definitely yes for sunglasses

88432 @Ingeborg

If you really have your heart set on reading either of those, I can ask on the captains chat thread if they think it's purple enough.

88432 Hey Ingeborg~ I hope your holiday was lovely too!

I hate to sound like a negative Nelly but I would say No to either of those.
The Mods are looking for a book that when you look at it really says "Purple" or Tineye confirms it (no for either).
After them not allowing some covers from last round, I would say no to be safe.

I think of The Weed That Strings the Hangman's Bag (Flavia de Luce, #2) by Alan Bradley Dangerous by Amanda Quick Plum Lovin' (Stephanie Plum, #12.5) by Janet Evanovich Living Dead in Dallas (Sookie Stackhouse, #2) by Charlaine Harris

I would expect the purple to be >50%

88432 You’re welcome to read those Andreea, any of those look good. It was pretty hard to find a tri-color title! 🤨 I’ll read that book either way. I’ve been so curious since the beginning of Uno. And I’m laughing that you never searched the series! That was my first instinct ā˜ŗļø
Apr 19, 2019 12:28PM

88432 It would count as three. Pink, black and blue ;)
Apr 19, 2019 12:14PM

88432 I'm gonna grab that task and finally read
One for the Money (Stephanie Plum, #1) by Janet Evanovich
which our team name is named after! Been wanting an excuse to read this one :)

Worth the read!

88432 Agreed!!!

88432 Yikes, that looks more like a bridge for a train. I would have to say no ... but it looks like a good book!
Apr 18, 2019 08:30AM

88432 I would say Yes!
