88432 I have finished both my brown and grey colour card reads! Sorry, it took me a while to finish them. I've just been busy with school. I managed to get them both done last night!

My Final Reviews:

Mythos The Greek Myths Retold (Stephen Fry's Great Mythology, #1) by Stephen Fry
Mythos: The Greek Myths Retold
By: Stephen Fry

Rating: 5/5
Reason: It was an amazing read and I found that I got to understand the Greek Mythology world way better with this book. I was worried that I might not like this book when I started reading it but I ended up loving it! There was so much to discover and I can now say that I understand how the world of Greek Mythology came to be. I am super excited to read Troy next!

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak
The Book Thief
By: Markus Zusak

Rating: 5/5
Reason: This was a reread for me. I decided to read The Book Thief again as I wanted to write about it for one of my SACs for school and I needed to get a good amount of detail I was like why not read the book again? So that's what I did. I found that I loved the book even more on the second read through and that I could easily still say that it is my favourite book of all time. I would highly recommend this book!

No, it has definitely been enough time to be able to use The Book Thief! I say that it works! It has clearly been over 6 months since my last read of the book! Please let it work! I will use it for the brown coloured card!

I don't know if I will finish them but I will give them a good crack tonight! I have switched out Circe with The Book Thief as I have been reading/listening to it more than Circe and will probably finish it earlier. The copy I own has more brown on the cover so it works! It has also been more then 6 months since my last read-through of The Book Thief.

Thank you, Lexi!

I understand that but I just don't believe that it is fair. This is just as complicated of a read as any other book I have read and even if it is under 100 pages, how is it fair to judge a book on the number of pages it has. Some really tricky books are under 100 pages and shouldn't be discounted due to their short length.

Women of Troy will and should count. I will be adding it to the spreadsheet.

Hey, Elisabeth can my read of Mythos still count towards the grey colour card, please? This would really mean a lot to me especially as my last read doesn't count (which sucks) and it would really help me to feel that I am helping the team. Thank you!

Please let this one count! I haven't finished any other books this month and this will help me feel like I'm helping out and doing my part for this challenge. I believe that it should count.

88432 I have finally started reading Mythos. Sorry for the long wait. I've just been in a massive reading slump recently. I will definitely try to read this book as quickly as I can. Elisabeth, if you want, you can finish it before me, I don't mind.

I had to read this book for a study I'm doing in English class. I found the book to be enjoyable but I wasn't as intrigued whilst reading it as I was with most other books. The play however does hold some key anti-war messages as well as showcases how poorly the Trojan women were treated after the Trojan War.

88432 I will also be reading my orange book as I recently watched the trailer for the upcoming movie adaption for it and it has gotten me quite intrigued.

I also recently got Mythos from the library so I will start reading that sometime early next week hopefully, if not earlier. I will definitely be able to read it during April!

Yes hopefully. Just waiting for a copy to arrive at the library. It is already 'in transit' meaning it should arrive very soon!

Hi Tina,

Yes, there is.

We still need a:
red 9 and a yellow 9

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

88432 Well done everyone for a great March month! Good luck with April! I still have to finish House of Earth and Blood and Circe before I can start my April reads. I wish these ones could count but I don't think they can, unfortunately!

I really want to do as many coloured cards as I can! I just feel I've been letting the team down as I've been super busy recently and since the holidays are coming up I aim to read more! It's so hard though as many of the coloured cards are taken which is super annoying.

I have taken out both Daisy Jones and A Darker Shade of Magic as neither fitted a particular colour card. I still however believe that Daisy Jones would have worked for the red 9 as when I see the cover I see a red cover.

I will replace Daisy Jones with another red cover book. I still believe that the cover is red so I am surprised that 3 people didn't think it was.

Okay cool! Also, don't worry I added Eclipse which I can use for the black coloured card instead of A Darker Shade of Magic. I also hope that Daisy Jones can work as it looks like it is mostly red in colour.

Okay, I have now done that. I'm happy for Darker Shade of Magic to be used for both the black coloured card and reverse and I'm also happy to use Daisy Jones for the Red 9 card as well as a reverse. I will update the SS with this information now!

Thank you!

88432 Hi Lexi

I was looking at the SS and for both A Darker Shade of Magic and Daisy Jones and The Six you said that the cover I linked wasn't the coloured I said it was.

However, the covers of the books I own are the colours that I said they were. I hope that this is alright.

88432 Has anyone read Daisy Jones and the six before? If so, I was hoping to read it in April and I could do it for a reverse card. I could have done it for the Red 2 but unfortunately, Jax is already reading something for that particular card.

88432 I am very unsure if I will be able to finish We Hunt the Flame in time before the end of March. I've been really busy with studying and whenever I do I tend to read A House of Earth and Blood instead.

I haven't yet picked it up since earlier this month.
