[close] The first 3 discussion books will be chosen by the moderators. Future books will be chosen by vote from titles suggested by group members. The books are rotated monthly and the club always has at least a three-month lead-time to order and read the books.


* The person who suggests the book, chairs the discussion.
* The chair formulates questions beforehand to post on the discussion thread to stimulate dialogue.
* The chair should provide any relevant background information or reviews of the book or author.
* The chair makesg sure no one monopolizes the discussion and that everyone has an opportunity to participate.

Discussions should be relevant and respectful. This is not a forum for confrontation, argument, or partisanship. Individuals must be willing to agree to disagree
* The book club is an opportunity to celebrate books,
conversation and camaraderie.
