8565 Ok guys. My choice for the November is the Animals shelf. Loads of different books in this one so hope you'll find one that suits you.

8565 Sorry for not checking my messages until today. I'm off to pick a new shelf now so will have it for you by this evening :)
8565 I've landed the trifecta this month. I read Throne of Glass. A really good read. Review here: http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
8565 I read Sister. I really liked this one. Not one of the run of the mill mystery books and it kept me guessing right to the end.

8565 Thanks Tien :)
Great. I think that I'll do that soon as I have this one done.

8565 Yay! I'm on a roll. Finished True Blue 2 down, only 8 to go. :)

Next rolled a 4. The Christmas Train.

Note to self - Start from position 14
8565 Historical fiction? Wow. I didn't know that I was old enough to be regulated to the historical brigade just because I remember the 80s. lol.

It wasn't a book that I had heard about before looking at this month's shelf pick list but I'm glad that I saw it there. There seems to be a lot that I would class as YA that are in there from reading the synopses but only time will tell once I get reading them.

8565 Finally I got the first one off the list First Family. I know that I only said 10 for me by the end of the year but that first one took me forever to start. Now that I'm off the zero mark hopefully I will keep on rolling :)

Only rolled a 3 this time. Another Baldacci book True Blue.
8565 I kicked off with Tell the Wolves I'm Home I loved it. Unputdownable. This story had me in tears.

I thought that it was very well written, and I'm not saying that just because it was a debut novel. Refreshing to see things from the point of view of a 14yo who, while in some aspects mature for her age (e.g. how she took care of her sister who had passed out from drinking in the woods), was also very much a young teenager (e.g. how she reacted to her first kiss).

A definite read.
8565 I'm going for Tell the Wolves I'm Home. Sounds like one I'd never have picked before so it's first on the list for me. :) I've already started it as it was available from the library.

I'm going to try for Throne of Glass and Sister as well if I get the time. I might not as I'm way behind in my MTR booklist. Only 6 books behind schedule on that one. :/

8565 Great Adrienne! I'm a late starter on this one. Haven't even gotten the first of mine read yet. It's next on the list though. Hopefully I'll get my goal read. I know it's only 4 months to go before the end of the year but I'm hoping that when I get on a roll there won't be too many hold ups.
8565 Great shelf pick! So many of the books on this shelf look like ones that I would like. Off to the library to see which ones I can get my hands on :)

8565 I read The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. A nice read. I gave it 3 stars. A nice story but not one to get me heading off to read the next in the series in any great hurry. I would put it firmly in the YA shelf.

8565 I finished Fifty Shades of Grey. Not one I'd go back to re-read. Don't know why all the big hype about it. The characters aren't developed and I couldn't really be bothered about what happens to them in the rest of the trilogy. A miss.

8565 Finally got around to reading the July read. I know it's late but it was definitely worth it. I read A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin . I don't know if I would put it on the adventure shelf myself but a very good start to an epic fantasy it was. Highly recommended. I really like the way that each chapter is told from the point of view of one of the characters. Can't wait to get hooked into the second part.

8565 Fortress is right! I think that I need to convert one room to a library for me :)
I've given up on the searching in the book boxes and resorting to the kindle version. At least I can find that one. I just have to finish the July read A Game of Thrones first as I'm really liking that one.

8565 Failed to find dice so using the online dice roll. Flying start with a 9 so back on the Baldacci bandwagon with First Family. Now have to unpack my boxes of books from our recent house move and find out if I have this one yet or if I'll be back online to add it to my Booktopia list of purchases...
Slight problem with the book unpacking in that I haven't gotten around to getting shelves for the new house yet. Book mountains against the walls it is!

8565 Oooh. Just read the rules of this one and it sounds great. Off to find some dice so I can get started :)
8565 Still going on the July shelf A Game of Thrones one but hope to have that finished soon.
Then for this month, I will slog away at the library book Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm just glad I didn't buy that one. lol.
And one that I have been meaning to read for a while, never having seen the movie... The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants which I'm guessing I will have read long before I ever get to finish the EL James book.
8565 I'm going for A Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice and Fire, #1) by George R.R. Martin for this month. I have some catching up to do... nearly middle of the month already :)
