Curium suddenly feels relaxed, she tries to smile at them
"Yeah, I'm fine, just peachy! Nothing bad has happened at all!" she suddenly realizes how pointless it is to lie. She puts her head down on the table in front of her and mumbles
"Actually, you know the head of Instill? Yeah him, he's declaring total war on the Rebels..."

Curium just stares at her now empty hands for a minuet, she turns to look at the two healers, she opens her mouth to say something, but no words come out. He wouldn't enact that plan, would he? is that just a threat to get everyone to come? It must be...

Curium decides that he is not going to disclose anything so she sits down to open the letter. On a thick cream colored piece of paper:

Curium,

It appears that the Rebels have gotten hold of some sensitive documents regarding the demons, they have been strategically launching attacks on out bases for the last couple months. It would be much appreciated of you would come to HQ, we need as many demonslaves over here as we can get. I feel it is time to declare total war, for the last year we have been on the defense, but I fear the Rebels will never see the true light, it is time to enact plan X...

Curium drops the letter and whitens
"He wouldn't..."

Curium refuses to open the letter until minimum information is disclosed to her. If it's of sensitive material she'll wait until she's back in her office to open it.

"Huh?" Curium turns around, she berates herself for letting her guard down, but she was just so happy. She accepts the letter and looks the bearing in the eye.
"What is the meaning of this?" She gets her crepes and tries as hard as she can to look serious while eating them.

(shes back I think)

She opens the door to the café and greets the owner, ever since the demons came things have been hectic, but simple stores and restaurants slowly came back.
"What do you want to eat Resolute? I'm getting crepes!"

(I know! she keeps doing this1)

Curium heads in the direction of the café, dragging Resolute along behind her. She gets out of the park without Cerium even noticing!

-MEANWHILE-

Cerium watches Curium leave, he heard everything she had said, he looks at her happy figure, at her happy without him. He leans against the tree and looks up through the branches, feeling rather dead. He almost laughs, a demon feeling dead, how ironic.

Curium jumps up, eager to hang out with another human.
"Of course I do! Lets go to the café or something! I haven't eaten since breakfast!" She smiles

Curium looks away, gritting her teeth a bit
"Actually, I really need to get away from him for a while...he doesn't like anyone but him getting attention from me, he's really needy and I don't want to deal with him for a while, you are not intruding by any means"

Curium looks up
"Are you going somewhere?" She glances around hesitantly, wondering if she could get away with going somewhere with her without Cerium noticing.

"You heard that? Umm, yeah, he kind of really likes them...at least the ones I make." She looks up, sometimes he's really agreeable, but he's also kind of possessive, but he'll do anything for brownies!"

Rex scans the crowd, trying to make eye contact with everyone, speading her charm
