Welcome, welcome! Good luck with your climb.

Congratulations! We'll see you on El Toro.

:-) Yep....unfortunately (for this challenge) not all of mine were mine....darn library books keep distracting me.

Bidding another leg of the trail good-bye with (#60)
The Long Farewell by Michael Innes

I read on my lunch hours at work and every minute possible when I'm not working. Sometimes that's less minutes then I'd like....But give me a choice of just about anything and reading and I'll generally pick reading if I can.

Still making progress....

And there is both a Stout and a Wentworth among the prize choices at this time.

No e-books here either. I do use the library for books I think I might like but am not sure enough to purchase. This is particularly true of recent books. Most of what I want to own are the vintage mysteries....
Nadine wrote: "Yay! My copy of The Body in the Library arrived today. Thank you so much! It already met my other Agatha Christie books and fits in nicely :-). Hope I can read it soon."Glad it got there! Enjoy!

A lot of my prizes come from duplicates too...buying better editions (which can mean everything from first edition to better condition to a much cooler cover) or buying a repeat when I forget my list. I do occasionally pull books from my collection, but my husband always wants to take my temperature when I do--he figures I must be sick if I'm giving up books. :-)
C. wrote: "I have a number of oldies, in wait for first volumes. I should put a list on my Goodreads page for trading paperbacks. I have giveaways someone might need. Clean-up is a great currency! :)"That's great...if you can bear to part with them. That's my problem--I have a hard time giving books up once I own them. :-)

Me too! Although maybe, it's more like I keep getting distracted by all those little side-paths (library books, ARCs, give-away books.....)

Congratulations on your climb so far!

Look at you! The top of Mount Olympus is in sight--great job!

Doing great!--I see you just ahead of me on the trail. :-)

Wow-you're getting really close to the summit! Great progress.
