2/11 in French: François Mauriac: Thérèse Desqueyroux. 1920s literary French was a challenge, but I liked the book. The rhythm was quite special (in a good way).
I finished the first book: Éric Vuillard's CONGO. An interesting take on a historical event (as all of his works). I liked it less than his book L'ORDRE DU JOUR, but it was still quite good.
So, 11 in French. I've decided on:-Guillaume Appollinaire: Alcools
-Honoré de Balzac: Le Colonel Chabert
-Kamel Daoud: Meursault, contre-enquête
-Anatole France: Les dieux ont soif
-Édouard Louis: Histoire de la violence
-François Mauriac: Thérèse Desqueuyroux
-Amélie Nothomb: Cosméthique de l'ennemi
-Françoise Sagan: Bonjour Tristesse
-Claude Simon: Le tramway
-Leïla Slimani: Le parfum des fleurs la nuit
-Éric Vuillard: Congo
