834701 Pilgrims progress is definitely a favorite of ours.
A Bruised Reed by Richard Sibbs was a great help for my husband when he was going through some health issues. We’ve also enjoyed books by EM Bounds and Spurgeon.

834701 What are your favorite books that you read in 2018? The ones that inspired, convicted or that you just thoroughly enjoyed!

Mine are,
Adorned, Holiness and Brokeness by Nancy Leigh Demoss

Gregor the Overlander series by Suzanne Collins (seems like no one knows about these books! Written for children but still incredibly enjoyable for all! My husband and I often make references or quote these books that we listened to in the very beginning of the year!)

Dead Wake by Erik Larsen. The story of the Lusitania, the author is excellent, love his cameos into the everyday life of passengers, workers and political figures during the time thee ents occurred.

The Kingfountain Series by Jeff Wheeler. The audible reader in this series at times sounds like Siri reading a book. Which put me off at first. But one day I was stuck listening to the first book farther than I would have normally with a reader I don’t enjoy.... and I ended up falling in love with the story and characters and eagerly anticipated each new book. I’ve found I love books who’s characters have strong character, or grow in character throughout the book and these ones really do! Lots of magic in these books if you avoid magic, and I just can’t get into anymore of his books sadly.

Akarnae and Raelia by Lynette Noni. LOVED these books! They are brand new releases on audible and had zero reviews so I had no idea what they would be like when I bought Akarnae. But they are so enjoyable! The next 2 books are scheduled to be released on audible January 15th and I can’t wait!

834701 I don’t know what happened to my comment. Goodreads glitched on me. But anyways I’ll be reading some historical non fiction first. I’ve added some amazing sounding books to my wishlists and currently reading list that I’m excited to read!

834701 I have 7-8 books I’m currently reading and I doubt I can finish more than a couple of them before the New Year starts. I’m also prioritizing books in my Amazon Prime free reads collection since I won’t probably keep Prime. I’ve got some fantastic sounding history books such as 1942, and
