I need to follow this. I have a bunch on my list but haven't actually read any except Valley of Vision.
Laura Sagor wrote: "What are your favorite books that you read in 2018? The ones that inspired, convicted or that you just thoroughly enjoyed! Thanks for starting this! I'm starting my wish list for 2019 and I look forward to seeing what everyone suggests. Here's my bests for 2018:
Best fiction:
This novel is translated from Turkish and is an excellent addition to the conversation about the Holocaust. We hear the Western perspective often. This book adds a needed Middle Eastern voice.
I needed this book. It isn't brilliant but it was the fun light story I was desperate for.Best Nonfiction:
The gospel on every page! I'll be reading more of Fitzpatrick. Identity is a hot topic right now in the larger culture as well as in my small circle. This book sends you right back to Christ as the root of who we are.
My brother got me a beautiful copy of Ben Hur for Christmas so I'll be starting there, followed quickly by a giant TBR list that I just added a bunch more to :D
