82198 I'm so excited! My second novel, According to Legend, is releasing on March 6, 2013. It will be available on Kindle Select at a reduced price. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as you enjoyed A Pirate's Ransom. If you do get the opportunity to read it, I would love it if you would do a review. Please keep a look out for an upcoming contest. Thanks for stopping by.
Names (1 new)

82198 I have a question for you ... if you are a writer, how do you come up with the names for your characters? As a reader, how much does a characters name matter to you in relation to who they are?

Hi Roberta,
I give myself permission to be out of balance. Right now I'm unemployed so it works to my advantage. Once I go back to work, things will change. I also take a week or two off between books to clear my mind. It helps me decide which story I will write next. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Thinking first helps cut down a lot on the edit process. ;)

Thanks, Marian. The next book, "According to Legend" will come out in November. It's a time-travel romance which has a prophecy, a quest, a love triangle and a wolf!

This is probably a pretty common question, but I'm wondering if you have a specific process when you write. It's interesting to hear the ways different people develop stories.

Hi Penny,
Thanks for sstopping by. When I have an idea for a story, I generally let it stew around in my mind for a while. When I know the beginning, turning point and how it will end, I begin writing. I do not have an outline. I usually allow my characters to tell their story. I write fast, no editing. I edit only after I have completed the book. Hope this answers your question.
