Oh yes, I'm with you on the Banks - good book.

I've never heard of this. Must add it to my list.

How about you?

Yes it is. Next question! :-)
To be honest, more people are engaging with me over Twitter, or by commenting on blog posts and the FB page, but I thought I'd set this up too since Goodreads provide the facility. The more places there are where I can chat to people the better.

All will be revealed within the next few months. It's linked to the new story, "Amnesia"

write with any continuity at the moment). A desert island would be perfect for that.

have read. I agree, it's a good book to read after watching politicians on the news, to reassure one that there is good to be found here.

Although what I mostly studied was women and other forms of hedonism. We never had a huge number of books Chez Wombat when I was growing up, but I always loved reading and soon the house filled up with my own tomes.

An impossible question, I know, but which book (or set of books) would you most like to have on a desert island with you and why? For me, it would be the Pepys diaries, always the Pepys. Endlessly fascinating, entertaining, and HUGE (it takes up 11 fat volumes on my shelves in the classic Latham & Matthews edition). I could probably build a raft out of the books if I husband the paper correctly ;-)

Hey Kim! I'd written
"Fog", what I thought was a short story, about a year ago after I'd found myself in a similar situation (the forgetting, I mean, not the gruesome discovery) while driving through the Peak District. After
Warren Peace, I needed a break from rabbits, and highly positive reader response to
"Fog" inspired me to develop it further. The good reception for WP helped give me the impetus though, yes.

Welcome! I have no idea if this will work, but I thought it was worth a try. Many readers have posed questions about Warren Peace, and the unfolding story of the new book. I thought it'd be nice to have an official place to answer those questions.
I imagine if this works then more topics will appear organically.
