-yeah but even then i feel like he'd hold a certain disdain for any and all gangs so maybe at first he's unsure of befriending her and afraid for his attraction because he has this whole life philosophy of "gangs are bad" but then slowly he learns that it's different? omg dude just them rescuing each other and keep saying "now YOU owe me one"

omg y e s and i def think she'd feel a little guilty of him being in the bratva and now tries to be as cold as possible but also gets high key jealous if someone shows any interest on him lol
@shay: i think they for sure could pass off as nonidentical twins! i'll add her to my workshop :D so they have lived in la all their lives it's and escaped, or were you thinking maybe they came from somewhere else? also how old were you thinking they were when they ran away?

aww yuss ok so i have two ideas so:
1. he's a rich party boy with a big mouth and gets in trouble with some gangsters so she saves him and he starts wanting for her to fall in love with him cuz he always gets what he wants but then he actually falls in love with her
2. he's with the police, he's super uptight and serious and by-the-book and she can tease him a lot, investigating a murder and meets her because she saw something and they start working together and falling in love

yayyyy so i was thinking kira was raised to be the perfect soldier, so maybe when they were younger they met and she was willing to drop everything for him but something happened (for this i'm thinking her dad stepped in and threatened him so he had to push her away, or make her believe he was cheating or viceversa), and then now that they're in la he's in the bratva but she's all business but still has feelings for him.
since i've claimed the bratva's president, would i be able to create some rules, affiliations, and places to rp in?

Growing up in Voronezh in the family bakery sounds like a peaceful and uneventful life, but Kira's family was anything but peaceful. The Volkovs are direct descendants of the original owners of the Tsiolkovskaya bakery, and when the bakers changed to more illegal occupations they used their skills in bakery as a front. As the eldest Volkov, Kira grew up learning how to bake sweet goods and shoot a rifle in tandem.
From her days in Russia she proved herself to be a talented strategist and ambitious leader. She shadowed her father and trained in weapons and hand to hand combat, her friends were her mentors and other high ranking members of the Bratva. She didn't really have what you would call a normal childhood, but then again, she really isn't a normal girl. When you are the heir of a massive weapons enterprise, there is no time for a normal life. As she started growing up she grew curious of what life would be like outside the Bratva, and as a teenager began to be reckless, escaping home, partying and drinking and sleeping around. It was in those escapades that she met who she thought was the love of her life. It got to a point where she was ready to drop everything and leave the Bratva for him. She would have, if her father hadn't interfered. And so Kira was left with a broken heart.
Kira threw herself into the Bratva after that. She continued her training, learned English, Armenian, German, and Kazakh. She became the best sharpshooter, an excellent fighter, a brutal enforcer, and a expert arms dealer. She drowned all her anger and melancholy, maintaining her focus on the goals of the organization. This is what she was meant to do, and she became the best at it.
She began to research the United States as a possible point of expansion, but she never thought her father would ask her to lead the Bratva to Los Angeles. Not that she wasn't ready, but this time she wouldn't just be a second in command, she would be in complete control of the operations in the city. As soon as she arrived she began to invest in the real estate business, of course starting with a bakery that would hide their headquarters. Kira was quick to meet the residing gangs and make friends with as many as she could, which wasn't hard with her quick wit and way with words. She wanted to learn as much about them as possible, to be a dealer you have to know your clientele. She quickly realized of the feuds in town, and the gears are turning in her mind. Because what's the best time for business for a weapons dealer? Well a war of course.

It wasn't unlikely to find Hector at one nightclub or another on a Saturday night. Fridays were usually reserved for racing, and Saturdays were for celebrating his usual victory. Or to make a deal or two. Today was a little like the former, because if he was caught dealing in the Black Swan it would be very likely that the Bratva would make sure he couldn't reach his car's pedal's anytime soon. Not that he wouldn't dare to do it. Hector was very aware of the gang territory divisions, but he was also aware that the rules could be bent as long as nobody found out. Hey, that kind of creative thinking is what got him through most of his foster homes.
But not today. Today was a celebration, as he had beat some rich kid who wanted to prove himself. It was obvious that the guy had never raced before, and it was honestly a little unfair, as Hector was pretty much the unbeaten champion on the streets. But the kid had thrown some insults around, and Hector couldn't let that stand, for his own pride and for the Marauders'. In less than fifteen minutes that rich kid had his tail between his legs and was giving Hector the keys to his Bugatti. It would be a beautiful addition to his collection. Some alterations here and there and it could probably become his new favorite.
So he was at the Black Swan to celebrate. He had jumped around tables, saying hello to some of his acquaintances, accepted a couple drinks, but he was nowhere near tipsy when he finally reached the VIP section. He could usually find a girl or two who got him inside, and he didn't think this night would be any different. He sat by the bar near the section, making sure he had direct line of sight to several tables before taking his black leather jacket off to reveal a green shirt, just tight enough to show off his muscles.

ok just to clarify:
putting it in super basic terms, crazy eights are mostly hackers, the bratva deals with weapons, the marauders deal with drugs, the angels are more like thieves, the hive are like merchants (of favors?), and the konami code are more protective than anything, am i correct?
-if i wanted to make a street driver they could be pretty much in any gang, or even unaffiliated, right?
-what are some examples of the positions available within the gangs?

Hector is not the first sad orphan boy to be raised in the streets of L.A., nor is he the last. He has no memories before being found trembling between garbage containers behind a restaurant downtown at age five, without anything to track him back to his real family. He bounced from foster home to foster home, fighting with his foster siblings or stealing from the foster parents or the neighbors. Hector figured very quickly that he was no one's son, and not one of his foster families seemed interested in making him a part of their family.
Hector always had a fascination with cars. When he was younger he thought he would get out of the streets and become a racer, with all the money and women that that entailed. Once he was tall enough to reach the pedals, he began to drive. Of course he didn't have a car himself, which is why he began to steal them, never to keep them of course, but just to have the rush. His practice was quickly noted by a member of the Marauders, who began to pay him to drive product around the city. He was fourteen when he jumped with the Devil's Marauders, and he's been climbing up ever since.
Hector knows he can do much more than simple dealing and moving product around. He's been with the Marauders long enough to make a reputation of himself as an unbeatable street racer and irresistible charmer. The cars on his garage, deals on his belt, and women on his bed are there to prove it. The street racing is more for himself than for the gang really, as he finds the thrill exhilarating. But his charm and sales skills have also gotten him far, and he doesn't doubt he'll be in the higher ups sooner rather than later.
