78394 Hi there! I'm Jenny, and I've been hooked on books since the age of four, when I discovered they were a great way to stay out of your much older sisters's hair. I live in San Diego, CA and my favorite author is J.R.R. Tolkien; I've read The Hobbit many times over the years.

I've read and enjoyed a few of the classics, among them, Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and Charlotte Bronte's Jane Eyre. There are still so many out there that I want to read! I'm looking to enjoy the classics with a group of open-minded people and make some new Goodreads friends as well.

If I had my very own TARDIS, I would travel back to Paris in the 1920s, when Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, F. Scott Fitzgerald, T.S. Eliot, and Gertrude Stein were there. I would sleep too late, dance too much, wear my dress hemline way too high and enjoy every minute of it. ;)
