Hi! My name is Shelly and I'm from Maryland. I've always loved reading, but being in grad school the last several years had put reading for pleasure on the back burner. Now that school is officially over I am trying to get back into the swing of things. Two of my all time favorite books are The Poisonwood Bible and Gone with the Wind. I love a good family saga!

I just finished reading Life of Pi and am looking forward to hearing everyone else's thoughts. Although I read a big variety of genre's, I like to work classics into my reading throughout the year and I think this group will serve as a good inspiration to stick to that. Happy Monday :)
