Hey Y'all,
My name is Tammy and I am from Texas. I am in graduate school obtaining my M.Ed. I just finished my undergrad in English with a concentration in literature last year. I am here because one, I love to read. Secondly, I am here because I like to hear other perspectives and have discussions on texts. My hubby hates to read unless it is a manual (yawn) and so I never have anyone to talk with about a novel.
I tend to gravitate toward the English Renaissance, Romance (especially Gothic), and the Transcendental Movement but I want desperately to branch out and I hope that is where you all come in for recommendations.
As far a superhero powers, I would love the power of clairvoyance. I would love to know the inspiration behind a work and how the author felt when writing it just by touching the cover.
