It's so quirky and fun. It wasn't at all what I expected.

Penumbra's was just fun, and I thought the internal dialogue was written devilishly well. The Fault in our Stars is one of the best YA books I've read in a long time. The characters were real and their wit was enjoyable, but I found myself really caring about what happened to them. And Home Front was just an emotional typhoon.

I love a variety of different genres and authors. The most important book to me is the Holy Bible. But I also love Asian literature, poetry, classic children's books and...anything good, really. Authors that I find myself returning to are Stephen King, Jane Austen, Jhumpa Lahiri, Ha Jin, Haruki Murakami, Jodi Picoult, C.S. Lewis, Roald Dahl, Rilke, J.K. Rowling, and many others.
I joined this group because, though I love to read classics, I find that sometimes I need a reason to choose them over a contemporary novel. Moreover, I always find books more enjoyable when there is someone to discuss them with.
Had I a superpower, it would probably be the ability to learn anything I want in a second, like in the Matrix. My mind is unquenchable, and it would be amazing to be able to learn all the things I want to know.
