I am Laura from Westmont, New Jersey, but I originally hail from Maryland. My husband and I have been married for seven years and we have a little girl, Sarah, who will soon be two.

I am new to GoodReads and new to the group. I am hoping to broaden my reading horizons! I generally enjoy mysteries and historical fiction, but I hope to gain new appreciation for different genres.

If I had a superpower, perhaps it would be the ability to move at the speed of light - I could get work completed, house cleaned and chores finished with plenty of time to enjoy family, friends and a good book!
