Hi, My name is Connie. I am a book lover. I was a manager for a chain bookstore for a while (my favorite job ever). To me that was the best excuse to read as many books as I could and call it research. I guess that it was a good influence for everyone around me ´cause my daughter Jeane helped get this Book Club off the ground. I also have a new e-reader and am just getting the hang of it.
You guys asked "If you had a super power, what would it be". I would like 2 of me so I could read and still have time for my hobby (Quilting) plus the housekeeping and go to work to earn the cash for all my books. Or maybe one person, going fast enough to do everything I want to get done, in a 24 hour period.
My ganre preferance is science fiction, but I will read anything that promises a good read.
