Hi ya'll!!! My name is Cassie. I'm from Columbus, TX and I'm 24 yrs old. I recently graduated with my bachelor's in psychology and then completed an alternative teaching certification program to become an elementary school teacher. I love to read, especially the classics, though there are so many I have yet to read. I just finished Scarlett (the sequel to Gone with the Wind) and loved it sooo much but much to my dismay had no one to talk about it with, my sisters are also very big readers but haven't read these two great books just yet. I stumbled across goodreads.com just today (though I already have 175 books on my to-read shelf!) and was excited to learn of this group; it's exactly what I've been looking for! I have always wanted to join a book club but being from a small town and with 3 children and a job it's often hard to fit in any extra time for myself, much less find a club to join. I love all different kinds of books, especially the classics but also mystery, sci-fi, fantasy, crime/suspense thrillers, anything with vampires, and of course romance and young adult books. My favorite authors (at this time anyways) are Stephen King, Agatha Cristie, J.R. Ward, John Grisham, the Brontes, Dan Brown, Nora Roberts, and Mary Higgins Clark to name just a few. I'll give any book a try! As for a superpower, it's hard to say but I'd probably enjoy being able to read people's minds ;)
