Hi! My name is Beverly :) I'm from California and I am 19 years young (or old, for glass-half-empty peeps that help supply balance to the world; I do admire them). My favorite books are This is Where I Leave You by Jonathan Tropper and The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson. I honestly don't really have a favorite author, but I suppose there's a special place in my heart for Jonathan Tropper. I don't have a favorite genre either. I love young adult, contemporary, suspense, humorous fiction, and for some reason, I love happy-but-sad stories. Did that make sense? I don't know how else to explain. I am here because I feel like I need to expand my reading horizon, possibly develop into a more mature type of reader. I'll still stick to my usual, but I'd love to look into the classics, too.
Now...if I had a super power...I'm a HUGE Heroes fan and I'd LOVE to have Peter's power (sorry if you don't watch the show :[) and that is the ability to absorb and mimic other people's powers. Pretty cool! :D
