The Nate Silver book can sometime get a little to in depth and I occasionally found myself in the weeds. But the information and ideas he presents are interesting. I like hearing about the things in life that no one really thinks about. He mentions the estimated amount of data being provided each day, and its a staggering amount.
I remember when The Wisdom of Crowds was first talked about and I said "I need to read that" well now 8 years later and I havent picked it up. I just put it on my list of to-read, hopefully I can get to it soon. Let me know if you read it and what you think.

I'm Jared, I help out with some of the behind the scenes stuff that goes on. I just wanted to drop a line to everyone since I dont think I ever officially introduced myself.
I do enjoy reading but it seems my tastes are what some would say pretty bland. I prefer to read non fiction. Malcolm Gladwell, Nate SIlver are some of my more recent authors. I dont have as much time as I use to have so I am mostly using audio books on my ride to and from work. Superpower...kinda like what they did in the Matrix plug in and absorb all the information on any topic in 5 seconds.
