Question....what do we do with works with no known author? such as Beowulf. Or antholigies...use the editor?
Hi..I'm Ed from San Diego....retired 2 years ago...love to travel and read. My tastes are fairly eclectic...with the exception of science fiction. I have to say that Alexandre Dumas' works give me the most enjoyment even if a bit formulaic. Also enjoy good travelogues..Paul Thoreaux, Bruce Chatwin et al. I usually have about half a dozen books going at once...currently reading David Foster Wallace's "Infinite Jest", Calvin Trillin's "Quite Enough of Calvin Trillin", E.F. Benson's "Queen Lucia", Stephen McCauley's "The Man of the House", Sir Walter Scott's "Bride of Lammermoor", & David McCullough's bio of John Adams. Time travel isn't as much as a fantasy for me as location, location, location. I like to read about all different places and cultures.
