Celeste tilted her head, she didn't what a plaza was.

Eliza looked over at the door, Celeste had been peeking inside this whole time. She seemed to be crying a bit.
"i'm sorry...am i causing trouble..?"


Eliza blew smoke out of her mouth and sighed.
"Yeah, you are. Come in and we'll talk"


Celeste sniffled and nodded.
"i-i just wanted to run away...i don't wanna be a queen...i didn't want to live in the castle...i didn't want to be a demon...so I ran away, thinking i could leave everything behind...thinking that nothing would go wrong."
The girl's knees buckled and she kneeled on the floor, sobbing.

"I used to be locked up in my room always. i read books about what the human world was like...Humans..they get to be married to the person they really love, right?" Celeste blushed an wiped her tears.
"that sounded so sweet...Not having an arranged marriage. And they have these funny things called 'holidays', like the one named Christmas.."

Eliza looked at the girl and felt pity. She understood, the girl just wanted to be normal.
"We'll keep you safe here if that's what you want. Our job is to protect the innocent, and by the looks of it, you are one of the most innocent women I've ever seen, even for a demon."

Eliza walked in and sat down, a slightly worried expression on her face.
"i'm sure you've noticed the succubus girl, the new one that came in just yesterday. She's a complete idiot and klutz, do you remember her last name? Himura?"

Eliza sighed,

"a knight came in this morning while you were gone with the others and told me the queen has fallen bedridden, so sick she can't even move. He gave me a letter from her saying that soon something horrible is going to happen.

She lit up a cigarette.

oof, that's kinda overpowered. the illusions and chaos, as well as the emotional powers, are overpowered you are only supposed to have one type of magic.

sometimes i allow people to have 2 types of magic if the second magic is minor

It was true though, the boy was very slender.
