Was born in the Midwest, into a multi cultural home. I have confusions about the early years of my life in the way that I have confusions about my life now. We pick up our troubles and proceed forward at whatever the comfortable pace of the day is. I've known many places and people in my life. I wasn't always in the right place in my thinking, I was a little bit off. The early years had me branded as brownie in a not so nice fashion as I was told by a kid who became my friend. Teachers, even a police officer called me brownie, in what may not have been a friendly way. Maybe someone wanted my family to move or something. That was Wisconsin, Indiana was different. Indiana culture shifts much quicker than Wisconsin's little melting pot. Early on I felt the other angle of the trouble; now I was a white boy to some. I can understand how loved ones would kid a kid and give him a hard time to get him with the program. It wasn't always love though. I am a multi cultural kid and can get offended real quick. That means everybody can get me in a bad state of thinking, not good for a kid or a man. Started drinking young, ten or eleven, liked the taste of cigarettes too. Was an alcoholic most of my life. I liked to drink alone for much of that time, though I remember a few laughs shared with people I care for but no longer see. I live a quiet life without any contact with anyone from my past, other than a call or text. Sober now, living with health issues and some harder to explain life troubles. We get what we put into it is what some say. I say, we will meet the next day until the days run out. I have a belief in a greater unrevealed truth to our lives here. My truth doesn't save a man from more than he can handle, it allows it.

Poetry and short story are used to develop the life of a boy who is absent of the fears that guide so many of us. His life isn't the main focus of the book. The World around him is described or speaks through the poetry and dialogue. A boy asks into the nights sky "Who will I be?" the conversation with a unnamed presence begins. The book series places examples of different types of people into motion as life unfolds. A Boy Without Fear A Man Who Found Trouble is the story of a man who never knew fear. Through experience he did learn temperance. He found himself on his path, becoming someone new as he learned of his own nature, of his own flaws. He became a man who knew that circumstance can create a man with no excuse.
