Hmm... a biography, where do I start? Well, I'm 58 years old, live in South Texas, and have toiled away at a wide variety of occupations in the past 44 years, all of them short term, with the exception of serving as the house manager at a high school performing arts center for twelve years. There I developed an appreciation for the Arts, especially the Theatre Arts.
I enjoyed my part during the production of the plays, helping with the construction of the set, focusing the lights, and setting up sound equipment, but what I enjoyed most were the plays themselves. When all of the preparation for a show had been completed, and it was time for its performance, the students took over from there, leaving me to join the audience.
Plays that had woven through their story thought provoking glimpses of human nature were my favorite, and plays that caused me to think about the trial of being human, long after the show was over, were my most favorite of those. And there is the basis of inspiration and the goal for my novels, to tell an interesting and entertaining story, while also evoking thoughts about our fellow travelers maybe not commonly thought.

CONTAINS ADULT MATERIAL Raised traveling the carnival circuit with his parents, Gary’s life may have seemed on a course already a bit odd, but when as a young man he strikes out on his own, the course his life takes becomes rather twisted and bizarre and ultimately leads to his playing a part on the world’s stage. And people say that the part he played changed the world forever, and that when the world knew peace, it was owed to him, and that whatever goodness the world knows now is also owed to him. It might just be though, that Gary is given too much credit, and maybe, there was something else in play. So, here is the true and unadulterated story of Gary’s strange life, from beginning to end, and people may decide for themselves what he did, or didn’t do, to bring change to the world.

Hi there!
I am Ross Eberle, creator of the Sky Fighters Novella Series! I was born in New Jersey and grew up in Philadelphia before moving down to Florida in the summer of 2003. My grandfather also happens to have been a famous Big Band singer. His name was Ray Eberle. If you'd like to know more about him (And my Mom, grandmoms, aunts, and uncles), you can find all the details on his article at Wikipedia right here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Eberle
The concept of the Sky Fighters first came to me during a class project where students had to color in a totem pole. Back then, I was only 7 years old. And even though the teachers would not allow me to take part in the class project, seeing one of the animals carved into the totem pole drawing gave me the inspiration to create special alien creatures which resembled foxes. They were multicolored and had square-shaped ears. These were known as Houndy Crunchers.
Soon thereafter, I bagged a bag of Home Girls potato chips as part of a class grab bag simply by selecting a number from 1 to 10. I selected number 5 and won the chips. The chips had an interesting picture of the Home Girls on them. While out shopping with my Mom, this gave me the idea to bestow superpowers to the Home Girls and make them Humanistic Sky Fighters. The name Sky Fighters did not come to me until years later, however. By the time it did so, their appearance had advanced and included such perks as wire-like tentacles on the sides of their bodies. These are called Wickwires, and can be extended and retracted according to their Willpower.
As you read my novellas, you will notice the people who are Sky Fighters have the ability to change their size, essentially making themselves 200 feet or taller or 7 inches or smaller. They also have magical powers, including Elemental Attacks, Teleportation, Invisibility, and once they're strong enough, they grow a set of wings and are able to fly! I decided to make my books novella-length because of the way I have my story set up. The storyline has eight parts to it with each part depicting the events of a particular year or years. There may even be a ninth installment of the series! We'll see...
If you've gotten this far in reading my biography, then congratulations to you! I hope you love reading my Novella Series as much as I love to read. (less)

One evening, a boy and his Mom leave a busy supermarket, armed with bags of groceries. Their eagerness to get home is cut off by a low humming sound unlike any aircraft from Earth. Looking to the sky, they freeze as a massive submarine-shaped ship emerges from an overhead cloud bank. The craft pulsates with light and suddenly bombards the supermarket and surrounding parking lot with neon red laser blasts. Frightened shoppers run, scream, drop groceries, and duck for cover. The assault continues amidst the shattering storefront glass, crumbling concrete walls, and shopping carts charred and flipped through the air like toys.
As the boy and his Mom cling together in terror, his mind reels with one question: Will he survive?Through a miraculous chain of events, however, they did survive. The attack on the shopping center by these hostile extraterrestrials left him wondering for several years: Who or what are these beings? And what do they have against us?
One day, a few years later the boy was contacted by a mysterious man from another planet who went by the name of Master Mantecado. From this point forward, the boy's life changes dramatically as he is recruited into an elite and powerful organization known as the Sky Fighters. Their mission? To take down the vicious Python Demons responsible for the attack on the innocent humans of Earth. The road to victory will be long and challenging, but one thing is certain: The Sky Fighters are determined to wipe out the Python Demons before they cause any more destruction.
