A young writer, a challenge that he can’t *not* accept and his “crazy” idea to follow that dream with his whole being. In his pocket, a plane ticket for New York, a few bucks, a little bit of fear, and a lot of determination.
A manuscript that he hugs to himself, “as if it were the most important thing on the face of the earth,” a book already written, ready to be consigned to the world, but with a surprise ending that draws the reader in.
A trip with an uncertain outcome, most assuredly unexpected, in order to meet his muse, and to give her his opus, sensations, words, and emotions for a better tomorrow.

Anna "Annina" Lorenzi born in Milan on a rainy Monday morning, the 26th of October, 1981. She went to - or, better yet, "went to" - two years of classical studies high school, followed by four years of artistic studies high school; without, in any event, being able to resist dedicating herself to her passions. Passions such as writing, music, photography, her beloved dogs, engines, travelling and nature. Talking about work, she really does "a little bit of everything," so much so that, together with some friends, she founded a company in Texas that deals with classic cars.
Her lengthy experiences as a writer include texts, poems, short and long stories, fairy tales, articles, selections in literary competitions, and publications in anthologies, as well as in magazines and Italian blogs.
Currently, she shares her creative writing accompanied by photographs and images on her personal site, "Diciannove - Prima di nascere ero sull'astronave che aspettavo di scendere" (annina19.com - "Nineteen - Before I was born I was on a space ship waiting to come down"), now partially available also in English, translated by Starleen K. Meyer.

On 19 May 2020, "Incontrando Laura. Un romanzo liberamente e in parte ispirato alla vita di…" was released, accompanied by its English edition "Meeting Laura. A novel loosely and partially inspired by the life of…" professionally translated by Starleen K. Meyer. The two respective audio books are expected for 2021.
In August 2020, Anna began working on the sequel of "Meeting Laura" and on a completely different side project, which she decided to prioritize. – The release of the sequel is currently still to be defined.
On 8 February 2021, "The Microscope. Una raccolta di scatti immortalati con la penna was released," accompanied by its English edition, "The Microscope. A collection of snapshots immortalized with a pen" (#TheMicroscope – Some Call It Poetry). – Genre: Contemporary Poetry. From the book serie: "Some Call It Poetry."
On 8 May 2021, "The Roller Coaster - UP&Down! - Un’estensione di The Microscope (qualcuno le chiama poesie)" and its English edition, "The Roller Coaster - Up&Down! - An extension of The Microscope (some call it poetry)," were released by surprise. The second poetic collection of the author that enriches and completes the previous one to which it is closely connected. – Genre: Contemporary Poetry.
