YES! Woo hoo! Good luck and thank you!
Good to "see" you today, Nancy. :)

Nancy, I'm here...are you still on and ready to sprint?

I'm definitely in ladies.

Are you guys sprinting again?

Funny, it doesn't show up on my phone so I came to the computer to see. Thanks and have fun reading!
Do you think you'll still be on here in a couple hours or so?

I don’t have a clue what I read, but I got a few pages read. I’ve been on the phone all night with my daughter and I’m trying to also update some books for challenges so I will probably come back on later tonight and see what’s going on like maybe in a couple of hours if anybody’s still here. Thank you everyone for the sprint(s)!
Susan, no worries about responding late. You didn’t even need to respond but I was really just expressing how much I miss my mom.

Sorry, I missed that so how about we go :30/90?

That's great, Squidget!
My daughter started texting me so I lost track but I think I only got 44 pages done.

I just looked it up and thank God they were able to rescue those last people on Tuesday morning!

Susan, I know how that must make you feel and at the same time (although I was never my mom's caretaker) I would DIE to see my mom and/or dad again under any circumstances! You're blessed you still have your mom. I was 58 when my mom died and 62 when Dad died. I do feel blessed that they and I lived long enough to have them for so many years, but I miss them dearly! :(

It's just so sad how so many people have lost their homes and more, and some lost their lives. One major fire was started from pyrotechnics at a gender reveal party. I know they were able to airlift over 200 people out of there who were trapped, but they had to stop that night due to the heavy smoke being too dangerous for them to try to go in. There were 50 people trapped that night who had not yet been saved. I never heard whether or not they were saved the next day or not but my heart is so heavy for everyone suffering. It's just horrific!

Oh my gosh! It's currently 98 degrees F where I live. Thankfully because it was 111 two days ago. Plus our skies are grey/orange from all the fires in California. Wish I could share some of our warmth with you.

Yes! Thanks, Squidget :) and how are you today?
