I think the book just drags a lot in places and then it amplifies the aspects of the book I don't like because it's dragging SO much. The audiobook really detracts from that.
Can't say I blame you 😂. I'd say if you're into audiobooks, go for the audiobook version and read it this time of year for the atmosphere and maximum creepiness factor lmao.
