Kaje, one option is to look for something in the book that isn't about writing or being in love or being gay (for me, andyway, since thst's what I write) and talking a bit about why you put it in there. For instance I have a WIP in which one of the main characters is aspiring to be a pro skateboarder. That one's easy, because of the number of awesome YouTube vids out there, and my enthusiasm for watching the sport on tv. Also, email or mssg. me. I might be able to help you out on the promo post on my blog.
Okay, so while we're talking about comfort lists and re-reads, let's see....which of ZAM's books make that list for you? One of my fav reads has. Always been Drawn Together. I think because I'm also a huge Yaoi fan, and that book has a nice, slightly fund and over-the-top Yaoi feel that I love. And it features that lovely hair, Yam's braid, Rory's red locks....yum!

But I love reading them, maybe because the MC's have a second passion in their music that..."Ugh.. Sorry to hear about the rot. That sucks. I hear ya on the gate crashing. To date, I think this book has required the very most research of anything I've written so far, but it's been an absolute treat!
Syfy wrote: "Hi Jaime! I have no idea how you ladies multitask the way you do, but ROCK ON!Love the sexy rocker boys with all their potential for angst, and the description of their voices can be a magic all o..."
Syfy, I know what you mean about the voices. I was writing the first scene, which is set at a concert, and trying to find the words to convey what I was hearing in my head...tough to do!
OKAY! So as ZAM moves house and I renovate the bathroom, let's get a little bit of chit-chat going here. I'm personally all about the rockers, right now. (Maybe because my current WIP involves a Goth bad-boy singer!) But I've always loved reading about them. Why? All that glam! and the idea of them up there on stage singing their hearts out then back to the hotel rooms and...well, who in m/m land hasn't shipped their fav band members? I know I do it all the time. Why do you guys love your rocker stories?

Yay for you being in! (and GODS yes, yay for going home.) You know what though..."
You don't need to laugh at yourself. I think that is a perfectly reasonable fear.((hugs))
Z.A. wrote: "OH! I have those. I really like them. I'll get them back when I go back to the house. Little Butterfly, Volume 01 is a pure pleasure as well. Still makes my heart just SOAR. I love young love."That does look cute. I might have to see if I can find/afford it. Some Yaoi gets expensive fast.
I just started the Shout Out Loud! 1series, because I wanted something light and quick. It's enjoyable enough for me to move on to book two.
He was quite an amazing person. A lot of how I learned to be myself and true, I learned from him in the too few short years I knew him.
