Not all my textbooks are available as ebooks though, but a few are. My fiance agreed that it would be easier to carry that around rather than a bunch of different books.
I agree. I was going to buy a samsung galaxy tab but decided to get a nook instead. Way cheaper and does everything I need. I have a phone so I don't need to be able to txt or anything. I love my nook. I wanted one for years and caved...useing etextbooks for college as my excuse. I do enjoy reading hard copies of books, but this i nice because it can save space. There are tons of free books too, some books are only amazon that look good though. :( That is fine though because I have plenty to keep me busy at the moment.
Why did you get your nook? Did you consider a kindle and if so why did you choose the nook over the kindle? Did you root your nook or alter it in any way to get the benefits of both?
I was just interested as to why everyone chose the nook.
I do not have many because mine is sort of new and I haven't had much time or money to buy books, but you can add me:Cassieblck7@gmail.com
Which one? or both? I'm hoping that this group grow larger and then we can do recommendation swaps with more people. ^-^
I have a one year old little boy and live my fiance. We both attend college full time so i read before bed as well because we are always so busy. ^-^
That sounds like a busy but fun summer. The fair sounds like a fun thing to do as a family. My mom lives in Illinois at the moment. I hope that you have a great weekend before your kids start school again.
Thank you for introducing yourself and welcome to this group. I hope that this group grows larger. ^-^I will be sure to add you. My email address is:

When i foudnd this website i fell in love with it as well. I enjoy being able to read about and discuss books i like and have read. I also enjoy being able to get some new recommendations.
Our summer was pretty busy. We visited family on a week road trip the end of april...not technically summer but still. My son turned one in may...the 25th. We flew to see my fiance's grandma and go to her family reunion that was in Branson MO this year. I am headed to see the Kenny Wayne Shepard band concert tonight : )We have also been to Darien Lake a few times. We had some friends visit. Made sure to see some family..such as my fiance's parents more often than we usually do. We have made sure we got some fun things in before having to get back to our studies. What about everyone else?
Summer is about to an end... :(Back to college for me and my fiance and daycare for out little man. Did anyone do anything fun or interesting this summer? Let's get to know each other a bit.
Would anyone like to do a group read or book recommendation swap or anything to get us started as a group? If you have any other ideas for the group please feel free to let me know!
Thank you all for joining. Please introduce yourself by name and tell everyone something interesting about you. Let us know you favorite types of books and genres. Place your email address in your comment so people can add you as a nook friend. ^-^
