What if Bellatrix didn't have a wand? What would happen then?

Artemis would probably be the one to figure out how to blow up the force field surrounding the arena, and Alex would have to shoot the arrow to do it. Of course, in the 74th arena, there's no special conductive wire or lighting at a specific time.

Unless the wands were in the Cornucopia.

How about before the rule change?

Artemis is slightly more ruthless than Ender. I remember that Ender really had a hard time killing the aliens. Artemis doesn't have as many reservations. Of course, it depends on which part of the series you're talking about. Alex is about the same as Ender. I don't know about Po, though. Artemis is also so uncoordinated and wimpy, so Alex would have to protect him, which is a weak point. Ender can fend for himself, at least. I think I agree with you, Katara.

The Capitol would probably have them killed first, since it's not good TV. Or maybe it is, to the people of the Capitol.

Plus, despite Hermione's genius, I doubt she would be able to just survive as well as Katniss or Haymitch could. Forget Harry. I doubt he'd make it two days in the arena alone. Though he and Hermoine can make magic stuff. But only Katniss and Haymitch, you're right, would be able to kill.

While I'd wish that Hagrid and Katara would win, they'd try not to kill anyone. Unfortunately, Bellatrix has no qualms about killing anyone, as she's insane, and Azula is almost as bad, if not worse. I think they'd win, except they're both moderately to severely crazy at parts, so maybe out of smarts Katara and Hagrid would win.

Dang...I pity the White Witch and Katsa. Harry Dresden is kinda...unpredictable and explosive. He likes fire waaay too much.
