Pain ripped through every inch of Kyrian's body. He howled, the sound bursting from him and into the dark forests. He shook as Alyssa held him in her slender arms. He hear her sobs as he fought back Dante, the vile location of destruction in his life. It took all his power, and in an instant, all his senses shut down. He was alone, for an instant, fighting Dante with all his might. Then, a sound broke through the darkness. It was her voice. Alyssa's voice. Calling to him, over and over again, telling him that she loved him. It sparked a fire inside Kyrian, and renewed his feigning strength. With a mighty push followed by a roar, Kyrian pushed Dante back, closing the walls around him. The screams that belonged to Dante faded to nothing. Exhausted, Kyrian fell back on the muddy ground. He took in a deep breath before the smile invaded his lips, and he laughed victoriously.
Kyrian shot up, and pulled Alyssa into his lap, kissing her with great passion. He held her tight, and cupped her face. Tonight, the battle had been won, and they were safe from Dante. They laughed, and Alyssa talked happily, but fell silent, her mouth drooping once he told her about her giving him the strength he needed. He smiled and lifted her jaw back, closing her mouth. "Watch it, you may catch flies." He said, smiling. He knew his joking, and the omission to her being exactly what he needed, would make Alyssa feel all that much more better about this situation. Then, Kyrian's stomach rumbled loudly, indicating his lack of food. He smiled and shook his head when she asked him if he indeed wanted something to eat. She ran a hand across his cheek, and he turned his head, kissing her palm.
They stood, and due to the muddy ground, Alyssa almost fell. Kyrian wrapped a arm around her slender waist to steady her. He smiled at her, and let her go so she could move on to the bag full of the food she'd packed. Kyrian watched her for a few moments, glad he was still here to see her.
Kyrian's mouth watered a bit when he saw her pull out a loaf of bread from the back. He didn't notice until now how hungry he really was. He smiled, "I'll build us a fire. It will do good to warm us, and warm are belly's, to have a hot fire and a hot meal." He said, feeling the coolness of the wind in this unfortunate swamp. He went to the tree he hidden the blade in, and retrieved it. He unsheathed it, and walked to a nearby tree. It was a medium sized tree, and good for a fire. With a swift motion, he swung the blade through the air, cutting through the tree with ease. He loved this sword, but hated it at the same time. He divided up the wood and made it small enough for firewood. He set it up in the middle of the camp, and started the fire with the flint and tinder he'd packed.
"Okay, the fire's all made, dear." He said with a smile. He set the sword down and sat on the ground near the fire. He felt a small bit of normalcy here. Like, for a little while, they could carry on like a real couple in this world and enjoy simple things like a fire and some food. He sighed and warmed his hands on the fire. "Well, I suppose I will scout the area ahead and make sure it's safe, and we'll continue to our destination until dark." He said with a shrug, in response to her question. "Is there anything I can do to help, Alyssa?" He asked. Kyrian had learned to cook once out on his own. He'd become quite good at it. Though, he thought a woman's touch to things would make it all the better. Especially if that woman is Alyssa. "If there is, I won't mind to help some." He said, smiling at her. The situation was finally calm, and peaceful. And they carried on in a peaceful, lovely manner.
-----
Bandit Chief Chekhov Zender and his small crew sat at there camp, laughing and drinking. The told tales about love and conquest. They made no bother to keep their voices low, or hide. They burned the fire and went along with no care.
In the middle of Chekhov's tale about his first bandit raid, a bloody massacre on a small town, he heard the loud fall off a tree, and all went silent. Tree's hardly ever fell, and if they did it was in the midst of a storm, and most fell into rivers and made more of a splashing noise. This did not happen this time. Someone made that tree fall. We are not alone. He thought to himself. He shrugged, and kept on with his story. Only a few moments later he saw the dim glow of a fire in the distance. This validated his thought. We are not alone. He smiled, the plan already formed in his mind.
"Are you ready boys? This camp of newcomers, and all their things, will be ours soon enough!" He shouted to his boys. He pulled out his sword and raised it in the air. He pointed to the fire. "That's our target." He said. "You want to go take it!?" He asked. All of them gave a loud, "Aye!" in response. He smiled widely, knowing it would be there response. Chief Chekhov stepped out in front of his man.
"Then lets go get our prize." He said, grinning evilly.

Their kiss was desperate, loving, and magical all at the same time. They both knew their time together was running out, and Kyrain would soon have to fend off Dante in a violent attack. They kissed frantically, and Kyrians lips moved with Alyssa's, never wanting to part from them. He wanted more than anything then this kiss to keep going on, and block Dante away with all it meant. Though, as desperately Kyrian wish, the pain still flashed through is body and mind and he collapsed to the ground in agony.
It took all of Kyrain's effort and hardiness to fend Dante off. He screamed in the pain of it. Dante fought hard against Kyrian's tactics. Kyrian fought harder though, especially when Alyssa wrapped her arms around him lovingly, her head on his shoulder. It gave him hope, and gave him everything he needed to lock Dante away this time. Her soft whispers meant everything to Kyrian, and they meant so much that Dante couldn't understand. Kyrian used everything he felt for Alssya, all the hope she gave him, and pushed it all at Dante. Finally, with that final push, he silenced Dante. He had won against his most vicious, and worthy, adversary. Kyrian, with a smile, fell back to the ground, accidentally taking Alyssa with him.
Kyrian laid on the the muddy ground, a smile on his face and breathing harder than ever before. He was exhausted from all the effort and exertion, but he didn't care. He looked at Alyssa when she called his name hesitantly, and laughed. A uproarious, victorious laugh. He smiled along with Alyssa, glad he had made it through this one victorious. Kyrian sat up slowly, his muscles tense and aching, but he didn't care. His victory and the happiness that he was sharing with Alyssa trumped all that. The joy they both had in this moment was pure and beautiful, seemingly lighting up the darkness is the vile swamp. Overcome by some force, Kyrian pulled Alyssa to his lap and kissed her passionately, so happy this was all real. He cupped her face and kissed her harder, hoping to communicate how happy he was in this moment. He was here, and she was with him. The love of his life was here, and they were together. Safely. That was all he cared about right now. And it strengthened his resolve. He wouldn't give into Dante easily anymore.
Kyrian smiled at Alyssa's cheerful and lovely laugh when they spoke again of the victorious evening. He embraced her tightly when she threw her arms around him, still laughing. "It was you, love. You gave me the power to put him away." Kyrian spoke, laughing, amazed at the moment. It really was Alyssa's doing. He knew that. Without her, he may not have been able to suppress Dante fully. She pulled back from him and he met her beautiful gaze. He saw how much she wanted to help him in this moment. He could tell she felt of no use, which was a lie. She was the only thing that allowed Kyrian to get through this. Though, at the mention of food, his stomach rumbled loudly. He put a hand on his stomach and smiled, "Something to eat would be lovely dear." He said, grabbing her hand as it ran along his cheek. He kissed it softly, and whispered, "Thank you, darling. For everything." He stood with her, standing very slowly because his muscles hurt from the long day. As of the moment, Kyrian needed food, and a long sleep with Alyssa in his arms. He smiled at her and wrapped a arm around her waist. "Come on. Let's get some food prepared."

Kyrian looked at Alyssa's frown when he told her that their time was almost up. He silently cursed himself, hating that he was putting Alyssa through this. He almost gave the blade to her first. But, he knew how much she despised the thing, so he simply hid it. If Dante didn't know she had it, it would be a wonderful surprise for him if she had to use it. As the last bit of light faded, Kyrian was up and kissing Alyssa, like it was the last time that he would. Her hands cupped his face, and her kiss was desperate. Kyrian wished that kissing Alyssa would make this all go away. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want to have to fight Dante any more. But he knew, that if he did, they could be together forever. Truly together. He held her tighter, fighting ever second leading up to the last bit of light falling, and his fight beginning.
Kyrian's scream was loud, and horrifying. He knew this. He knew that his scream had frightened Alyssa. The ground wet his knees when he hit it. He hunched over, his hands on the ground, grunting and fighting off Dante with all his strength. He could feel his walls closing in on him, and he could feel Dante fighting them, pushing back himself. It was almost more than Kyrian could bare. But he remembered Alyssa, and what he was fighting for. He remembered the way Alyssa loved him, he remembered the night they made love. He remembered it all, and his strength bellowed. This is why he smiled at Alyssa. She was giving him hope. The ability to fight Dante harder, and silence him. Kyrian felt Alyssa wrap her arms around him completely, and telling him how much she loved him. He placed a hand on her arm, trying to comfort her. He could hear Dante in his head now that they were fighting. "Kryian! Let me out! We had a deal! A DEAL! LET ME OUT NOW!" He would scream, throwing all he had into he walls closing in around him. But Kyrian had a mission. He would silence Dante today. He would win this fight. This was his day.
"I will not let you win Dante." He told him simply, almost calmly. Dante screamed louder at him, but Kyrian was too strong for him. With a final push, he closed the walls around Dante, silencing him.
Kyrian let out a long hard breath and fell to the ground, exhausted. He had won. For once in his life. He had won. Kyrian knew that it probably wouldn't happen again, but today was all that mattered. Today, he had won a battle. And he was once step closer to winning the war. He rolled over on his back and looked at Alyssa, because he knew she would be worrying. He laughed. A true, honest, laugh.
"We won, Alyssa. We did it." He laughed, happiness filling him. Tonight he didn't have to go away. Tonight he could stay with Alyssa and enjoy her love and her company. Kyrian sat up slowly, his old bones groaning against him. But he was to happy to let them stop him. He looked at Alyssa and grabbed her hand, pulling her into his lap. He kissed her hard and passionately. He cupped her face, kissing her more. He broke the kiss and laid his forehead against hers. "We did it." He said again, even though he knew that this war wasn't over, and the fight would only be harder next time. He didn't let it stop him from rejoicing in this moment.

Kyrian noticed how tired Alyssa really was when she looked up at him. He knew that she would have the common sense to run if Dante found her. Kyrian already had a plan. If he felt that he couldn't win the fight with Dante, he would run of the opposite direction, and make Dante confused when he awoke.
Kyrian laughed, "I don't think a little mud will kill me." He said jokingly, knowing that here, it very well could. This place was dangerous, and they had to watch their step. One wrong move and they could be drowning in a pit of mud or poison water. He only hoped they wouldn't come to find any of that on their journey.
Kyrian studied the sky a bit, trying to get a sense of what the time was. The sun was almost down, which meant they didn't have long. "Not long." He said sadly. A cold chill of reality washed over him. Once he started fighting Dante, there would be no stop. At a little bit of resistance, Dante would unleash Hell. At full blown resistance, its frightening to think of what he'd do. Kyrian sighed and set the lantern down, the glow illuminating the ground they had set camp upon. The ground was a dark red color. Almost like blood. A scary thought, sleeping on blood. It chilled Kyrian.
Kyrian nodded at her question, taking the sword from his back. He wanted to give it to her, but he knew that the thought frightened her. He walked to a tree, and rolled it a bit, finding the underneath gone and the tree hollow. Though you couldn't tell from the top. He lifted it enough and slipped the sword down underneath. "If things get bad." He said, not knowing what else to say. He looked up at the sky, and watched the final sunlight fade from the sky. He strode over to Alyssa quickly and kissed her, hard and passionate. "I love you, Alyssa." He said, before the pain pierced him.
Kyrian dropped to his knees, almost forgetting how to resist Dante. It had been awhile since he really had to, that it was hard at first. He created four walls around Dante's presence. A solid room that he couldn't escape. Though he tried. He screamed and hit the wall, causing Kyrians mind to rattle, and pain shoot through his body. He screamed loudly as Dante threw himself into the wall with everything he had. Luckily, Kyrain was good at this, and his walls didn't falter. He looked up at Alyssa, fear covering her face, and smiled. He actually smiled. "I'm going to win this, Alyssa." He said, is confidence coming out of him. With that, he made his walls higher and harder. Dante would not win this fight today.

Kyrian analyzed their surroundings. He could see a lot of dark trees and a shallow river as the last bit of daylight faded from this place.
"I guess so," he said, looking at Alyssa, whom was covered in mud. He grinned again. "Are you okay?" He said, knowing that she didn't suffer anything but a muddy behind. Kyrian set down his pack and fished out a lantern. He bought it at a small village before they reached the Swamps. He knew that they may need it. He lighted the lantern easily, and latched it to his belt, illuminating their path. He knew they needed to go a little bit farther in before setting up camp if they were going to confuse Dante enough if the time came.
He realized that soon, he would be back to the fight. Once he felt the pain of Dante's return, he'd be fighting. A fight that Alyssa wouldn't be able to see. A fight for his mind, and control over his body. Soon, he would be back at war with himself. He vowed to win tonight's battle. He looked Alyssa in the eyes and nodded. Hand in hand they walked ever farther into the Dark Everglades.
After a little bit more walking, he found a relatively dry spot to set a camp up. It had several fallen trees, which made for a small spot to sit. The ground was soft, but not wet. It would be well enough to sleep on. The Everglades was hot and mucky, so unless they cooked a meal, fire would be unnecessary. He sat down on a tree and put his head in his hands, groaning a bit. He was glad that they found a place to stay. His bones needed a resting spot, especially if they were about to fight off Dante. Kyrian studied their camp again, finding an escape route for Alyssa. He found a small, almost unoticable trail that he recognized. It would take her to the edge of the Swamps that they needed to be at if anything was to go wrong. He pointed out the trail, "If anything goes wrong," he said, hating that these were her first words in a while, "Run along this trail. It will take you safely to the edge of the Swamps, where we need to be. Run and don't stop until you either reach the next lands, or the sun comes up. Okay?" He finished, standing and walking over to her. He wrapped her in his arms and kissed her forehead gently, "But let us hope it will not come to that." He said softly to her, hugging her tighter, not wanting to let her go.

<3 <3 <3
Ah, okay! I should still be here, unless I fall asleep, which is a possibility. But other than that, I should be here. :)
Also, you can post first, your first posts are so lovely, and I think you have a better idea of what the Everglades are like. Plus, I am bad at first posts.))

Kyrian smiled warmly at Alyssa's cleverness. Hiding the map with other similar, blank, pieces of paper was a good idea. If Dante was angry enough and searching for anything of use, he'd miss that by a mile, especially without being able to access Kyrian while he was around Alyssa. Kyrian suspected that Dante wouldn't leave her side.
Kyrian wasn't surprised when Alyssa leaped into him at her notice of his tears. It was exactly what he wanted, what he needed. Kyrian nodded his head in agreement, wrapping his muscled arms around Alyssa tightly, hugging her body close to his. "I'm scared to, Alyssa." He whispered quietly to her, not sure what else to say, and not able to pitch is voice any higher than a whisper.
Kyrian knew he may not get the answer he wanted from Alyssa. Half of him expected her to tell him that this was a fools errand, but he knew that would not happen. She simply said everything Kyrian needed to hear, like she always does. She told him the truth, and he knew it. Kyrian smiled at her reply. "I know, love. But, it is a chance." He said, wrapping his arms round her tighter, stroking the locks of her long hair. He placed his head on her shoulder, letting his tears subside a bit before looking into her eyes and smiling, "Thank you, Alyssa."
For Kryian, kissing Alyssa made him feel better. He knew that in that kiss, love flourished, and that the chance they had was real, just like their love. Her lips were salty with the taste of tears. She pulled away all to soon for Kyrian. He wanted to keep kissing her, and stay like that forever. Forever kissing her, never knowing any further pain, and forgetting all but her kiss. But to his fortune , the world kept turning. He nodded, knowing it was time for them to depart from this house and get on the road again. He didn't want to go. He hated knowing he was running from Dante. But for now, it wast he only option.
Kyrian smiled when she handed him a bag of food. "I see you packed to feed a militia." He said with a laugh, his tears finally drying on his face. He walked to her when she looked at him, finally ready to depart from here.
Kyrian laced his finger within hers and looked into her eyes. "Alyssa," he started, then decided he wasn't going to say a word. He simply cupped her face gently and lifted her head, kissing her lips softly. Her lips were soft against his own. He kissed her long and sweet before pulling back only slightly. He opened his eyes and looked into hers, pouring his love for her through is eyes. He loved this women, and it was for her he was doing this.
Kyrian opened the door and sunlight flooded into the room. He looked at Alyssa smiling, holding his back and blade, and her hand. He squeezed her hand gently, reassuring her, and himself. He took a deep breath, and got ready for the journey at hand. "Well, here we go. Lets go on an adventure."

Kyrian could see beyond Alyssa's reassuring words. He could tell that she was scared too. But, here, it may be better to be scared, than not to be. Being scared would keep her alert, and watchful. He hoped, anyway. Kyrian didn't want her to be afraid. He wanted to reassure her, and be able to tell her that everything was going to work out, and they'd be fine. But he didn't know that for sure. Dante was dangerous, and if he caught wind of what was happening, he'd be the first in line to stop it. He knew that this may be foolish, and that it may cause the death of both of them, but he couldn't miss the chance to really be with Alyssa forever. He'd do what he had to. Kyrian kissed her softly, "I will protect you, my love."
Kyrian knew that Alyssa would understand the plan he had drawn up, and keep the details safe to herself. He wasn't worried about the plan going awry because somebody forgot something. It was Dante that would make the plan go awry. Kyrian nodded when she agreed to take care of the map. He wouldn't leave it in just anybodies hands, being it was his fathers. But he knew it would be safe with Alyssa.
Kyrian closed his eyes and looked away from Alyssa when he was finished speaking. He hated the fact that he knew he was scaring her. He was making this much harder on her. He didn't want to scare her, she was his everything, but he couldn't lie to her. He couldn't let her go in blind to the situation, no matter the feelings it arose in her. But when he finished speaking, his blood chilled. Kyrian wanted to be sure of victory, but he knew better. Through all his years, he knew being sure of a victory would lead to a defeat. And a bloody one. He was reminded all to well of the revolutions in his home lands, and the weeks he spent on the front lines. Once, his partners and himself thought that victory was theirs! They were so sure of it, but in the end, his entire squad was slaughtered. He barely escaped. He didn't want this to happen again, so he was never overly positive about a battle, especially here. He knew the outcome could be grievous. But he also knew that the outcome could be amazing. For both himself and Alyssa. But, his doubts were great. He kept his head down and squeezed his eyes tight, trying to force the tears away from his eyes.
Kyrian must have invoked the same upon Alyssa, because she tore away abruptly, saying she needed to dress, but Kyrian could feel the tears falling from her eyes, even though he could not see them. He nodded and turned away, dressing himself, his own tears now starting to steadily fall. He wouldn't let her see him like this. Not now. He needed to be strong for her, and brave. He wanted to hold her, comfort her, but he knew there was nothing he could say. He slipped his clothes on slowly, tears leaving trails on his cheeks. He donned his clothing, lacing the final string on his shoe. He turned his head back at Alyssa, his eyes red and puffy. "Alyssa. We have a chance to make this right. Don't we?" He spoke softly, his voice showing he was obviously upset and was crying. But he looked to her in hope that she would hold the answer he so desperately needed.

Kyrian looked at Alyssa. She must have saw the dread in his eyes. She called him over, knowing what he was thinking. He sat by her and held her hand. She tried her best to calm his fears, but his fears were well developed. He couldn't ignore the potential danger they were in. The danger he was putting Alyssa in. Part of him told him that he would leave her to keep her safe. If he really loved her, he would leave. But Kyrian knew it was not that simple. If he left, she would be safe. But not for long. Dante would find his way back to her. He would develop a hatred for her, and go off on some vendetta. Just to see her suffer, and Kyrian suffer the same.
Kyrian smiled, "Love, I know that everything will work out." He said, kissing her softly. He sighed and stood. He needed her to understand what was going to happen. If they had any chance of surviving, he had to map everything out for her. Nothing should come as a surprise. Though Kyrian couldn't plan for everything, he could certainly try his best. He walked over to his things and pulled a dry piece of parchment from his coat pocket. It was a map of Joro. But, it was a special map. He walked back to the bed and set it down gently where they could both easily see it.
"This," he said, circling a area on the map with his finger, "Is the Swamps we are heading to." He tapped the spot lightly and the maps face transformed into a map of solely the Swamps. He looked at Alyssa and smiled, "My father left me this. Impressive, right?" He said, impressed himself by his fathers work. His father was a great mapmaker and weapon-smith. His father was a jack of many trades. He often made his things with magic, which bewildered Kyrain. He did not have his fathers flare for magic.
He shook the memory of his father from him and continued explaining things. "We are going through the Swamps." He said, sliding his finger down a long road that cut the middle of the Swamps. He knew that Dante didn't have the knowledge of the Swamps, and wouldn't be able to cross it easily without a map. "After the Swamps, we will go to the town along this route. Here, we find a witch." He said, wincing at the word. He hated witches. They were vile and evil. Their very presence made Kyrian shutter. Instead of mentioning who this witch was, or the danger she did indeed pose, he continued on with laying out their plan. "If we can get the information we need from her," He said, looking into Alyssa's eyes, "We may be able to kill Dante."
After her spoke he got a cold feeling. Kyrian wanted Dante gone, and the thought of hit gave him this feeling. He folded the map up and handed it to Alyssa, "You keep this. Do not let Dante have it. Hide it well." He said, kissing her hand and placing it in her palm. He looked into her beautiful eyes. He sensed some worry, and he didn't blame her. He was worried as well. He just hoped that their plan would work well. Then came the hard part. Explaining what would happen tonight when Dante was to come back.
"Love, Dante comes back tonight. So be warned," He started and got a bit closer to her to talk, "I can fight him off. For a night or two. But when the transfer starts, hide. If I collapse, run. That means he's won." Kyrian finished, and placed a hand on Alyssa's cheek. "I'm sorry, love." He said, finishing the thing he needed to say and hating himself for having to say them.

Kyrian yawned only a few seconds after Alyssa's first yawn. He didn't fall asleep quickly. For a few moments he laid there. He felt Alyssa's heat against him and felt her breathing. The room was silent. He took in the moment, closing his eyes and breathing slowly. Soon, he too fell asleep.
Le Morning
Kyrians eyes popped open. He had been dreaming. It was a terrible dream. He had watched himself, Dante rather, tear at Alyssa. He hurt her terribly, doing unspeakable things. This fueled his anger at Dante, even though it was just a dream. He knew that if Dante got a hold of Alyssa, that is what it would be. All seemed well with Alyssa. She seemed to sleep calmly next to him. He scooted a bit away from her and rolled to his side. Kyrian kissed her lips softly, hating to wake her, but knowing it had to be done. "Wake up, my love. It seems to be morning." He whispered softly to her.
Kyrian climbed out of bed gently and looked out a window. The sun was just coming up. This was one of his favorite parts of the day. It was only made better by Alyssa's presence. A small ray of sunlight hit his chest, warming him a bit. He smiled in response. He stretched a bit, stifling a yawn. He wanted to make some breakfast, but he didn't know his way around Alyssa's home, and didn't want to risk breaking anything. He was never a very good cook in the first place. He sat down on the edge of the bed and looked over at Alyssa. "I hope you slept well," He said, "We most likely have a long day ahead of us, my love." He said, dreading the walk to the Swamps already. It wasn't going to be fun, he only hoped they could make it there in good time. This was his last night of freedom. He knew the crusade to rid Dante before the nights were up was absurd, now he could only try his very best to protect her. This wasn't going to be very easy.
((Sorry, kind of a small post!))

Kyrian chuckled a bit. "Yes dear, really." He said, kissing her cheek. "Being with you was something I will never forget." He smiled at Alyssa, because he knew that it was true. Even if they never got to make love again, he would always have that night under the tree by the River. He would carry that memory with him for a long time. Until the end of his days, this he was sure. He brushed a falling golden strand of her hair behind her ear. "And I would gladly revisit the experience at any moment." He whispered, being a bit playful with her.
Kyrian smiled when she started to blush when he asked her what she thought of the night they at spent together. Her face was bright red as she spoke. She was quiet with her words at first, but her courage came in and made them louder, which made Kyrian only smile more. At her confession, he couldn't muster a reply. He simply smiled, happy that her reply was what it was. He knew that their experiences with each other could be different, but in this case, they weren't. Its seems that they felt the same way about that night. It was absolutely remarkable, and something they wouldn't forget. He loved that. He felt her love with the tender kiss she put on his forehead, increasing his smile more.
As Alyssa stood carefully from his lap he protected his cup of tea from falling over on to the floor. He drank the rest of it in a final sip and set it down back on the table. The tea was warm and made him more tired when he finished his cup. Kyrian smiled as she pulled the lovely white nightgown from a top gown. He put his hands over his eyes and smiled, "Of course not, why would I do such a thing." He spoke softly, all the while his playfulness spirit perking and he peeked through his fingers.
He shut his eyes quickly when she looked his way, but then opened them to peer through his fingers. He watched he love strip from the dirty green dress he had first met her in and don the pure white gown. It fit snug to her soft curves. "That really a beautiful gown, my dear." He said through his hands, chuckling. He uncovered his face, "I may have peeked. Only once or twice, though." He said, a playful smile on his face. Kyrian stood and watched her slip under the covers and lay back on the pillows, eyeing him. The candles flickered over her face and his, and she had a smile about her, he could tell.
Kyrian laughed at her question. "Why, yes, I think I shall." He said, slipping from his coat as he talked. He met her eyes and unbuttoned his shirt and shook it off as well. He took off his shoes and belt. Still meeting her eyes he unbuttoned his pants and slid them off, and stood in front of her in only his undergarments. He folded his clothes and slid them to the side of the bed, out of the way. He came to the other side of the bed and laid down, enjoying he warmth. He scooted closer to her and wrapped her in his arms. That made the warmth feel complete. "Hello, my love." He said, kissing her softly. "We should sleep," he started quietly, "but we couldn't sleep for to long. We have to make it to the swamps before the day is up tomorrow. Though I do not think it is to far a trek from here." Kyrian kissed her forehead softly and laid on his back, pulling her against him gently. He placed a arm behind his head and let out a deep breath. "I love you, Alyssa."

Kyrian smiled as she made her way towards him. She was beautiful. She moved soft and gracefully across the floor, her dress trailing behind her. She yawned a bit and Kyrian chuckled, soon followed by his own yawn. He felt worn, and tired. He when she reached him and leaned down, kissing him softly, her hands moving slowly across his cheek. Her touch was soft and felt electric on his skin. He would love her touch for eternity.
Kyrian welcomed her into his lap. She wasn't heavy, so it didn't hurt nor burden any. He kissed her, and he welcomed the kiss that he got in return. Her lips here warm and soft. He hated parting from them, but he knew nothing would get done if he spent the day kissing her. Kyrian laughed slightly when she spoke and blushed at what she said. "I guess you are right." He said, kissing her cheek. He wasn't really shocked at her question. He was actually starting to wonder when she was going to ask it. He wanted to ask her, but he never did. Other things came over him and he forgot to ask. He reached over and took a sip of his tea, ready to pour his heart out to her.
"My love, being with you that night meant the world to me. It was the best night of my existence, and by no means would I ever trade it for anything in the world. And I will never, ever forget it." He said, kissing her again. "It was the happiest moment of my life, Alyssa." He whispered to her, kissing her cheek softly. "Thank you."
He smiled and pulled back a bit to look her in the eyes. "How was being with me?" He asked, not afraid, or even flustered in the slightest. He didn't care what her answer was, it didn't matter to him. He hoped that it was as good for her as it was for him. He didn't need to know how she felt about it, but he was extremely interested. He looked into her beautiful eyes deeply, almost finding himself lost. He smiled at her beauty. He loved her so much, and was happy that she was here with him. He would protect her, no matter what. He wouldn't let her get hurt. Even if he had to get hurt himself. For a second his worrisome thoughts started to cloud his mind. Though he easily shook them off, knowing that they would be okay. He replaced his pessimism with optimism, and forgot all about the future. Instead, he focused on Alyssa and her words, looking into her beauty as she spoke to him.

Kyrian didn't sleep long, but it was a very good, and well deserved sleep. He didn't dream either, which was probably a good thing. He never had very good dreams. He stirred a bit as the chair was starting to become a bit uncomfortable. He opened his eyes and bit and looked and saw his cup of tea sitting next to him. He picked it up and took a long sip. It was delicious, and felt good on his dry pallet. He set the cup back down gently and looked to see Alyssa packing some clothes from a chest into a bag. He hadn't packed anything then the clothes on his back, simply because it was all he had. If they got to pass through a town or market, he would need to buy some more clothes, maybe even a scrap of armor for the both of them. Some protection might be necessary on their adventure. Hopefully they never would run into something to dangerous that they would need armor. She packed everything she thought she would need. Kyrian just smiled a closed his eyes again.
He hadn't gone back to sleep, but again just opened his eyes. He saw Alyssa admiring a blue dress. He wondered about it, but thought it better not to ask. He would let her pack whatever she thought she would need, and he would not question. He watched her quietly as she packed the food she thought they would need. Of course, they would probably need more. He knew that this journey would probably be longer than three days. He didn't have any leads and no place to start to know how to get rid of his Dante problem. He just knew one thing;
He needed to find the witch who did this to him. But he would worry about that when they were close. She was still a ways away from where they were heading. He sat up a little bit and the chair creaked as he did. This must have startled Alyssa, because she looked over at him. He smiled at her. "I am fine." He said quietly, ushering her over to him.
"As do you, my love. We should get a little rest before leaving again." He said, kissing her when she finally reached him. He pulled her into his lap with a snicker. "Do you not think?" He said with a devious smile and a kiss on her lips.

Kyrian smiled at her when she turned around to look at him. He was a bit relieved they had finally found this place, and that they could rest properly and comfortably. He watched her pull the key from a small hidden spot at the bottom of the lacing of her dress. She placed it in the keyhole and turned it, and grinned slightly at him. He laughed, "Yes, I noticed," he started at proceeded to walk through the door, and then Kyrian forgot to duck. Banging his head on the top of the door he cursed. "Ow!" He said, taking a step back and rubbing the spot on his forehead. He laughed a little bit, "I guess I should duck next time." Finally proceeding through the door unharmed.
"Thank you." He said as he sat in the chair she suggested. He studied the small house as he sat there. The ceilings were low, and he felt as if he almost had to bend a bit to avoid smashing his head through the roof. Of course he didn't, this was just the feeling it gave him. It was a lovely home though. He could stay here for a while whit Alyssa. If only time was permitting. In this case; it was not. He watched Alyssa light a small fire in the fire pit. It gave the room some warmth, and a little bit of soft lighting. He met Alyssa's eyes to speak to her, "Oh, yes. Some tea would be lovely." Kyrian was very, very tired. The long walk tired him out a lot. Though he broke a smile at Alyssa as she walked to start the tea.
His eyelids felt heavy. He slouched a little in his chair and got a bit comfier. He could feel his conciousness slipping as he started to fall asleep. "I love you Alyssa." He muttered softly as he fell asleep. It was very odd. Kyrian wouldn't normally just fall asleep in someones home. But, with Alyssa, he felt comfortable. Like maybe it was his home too. It was a good feeling. Even the chair was comfortable. But most things would be after sleeping on the cold hard ground most of his life. He enjoyed his sleep, even if it would only be for a few minuets.

Kyrian understood Alyssa's reluctance to the blade and what he was asking of her. It was hard to even think about harming someone you loved. He knew that. But sometimes, it had to be done. In a matter of life and death, Kyrian would rather deal with a scar than Alyssa being dead and it being because he couldn't stop Dante. It was a lot to ask of her, as it would be to anyone. He just hoped that when it came to it, she would stop Dante instead of giving up her life. He stroked her hair, "I know love, I know." Then he kissed her to finally move away from the conversation.
Kyrian kissed Alyssa like it would be the last time they ever kissed. He needed her, desperately. He smiled when he heard her virtuous laugh ring out. He loved that sweet laugh. He was happy that she had forgiven him for asking her to do that and making her so upset. When he kissed her, he never thought he would end up kissing her so deeply. Her hand moving across his cheek bones, her small arms around his neck, and the taste of her mouth and the feel of her sweet tongue against his own only made him kiss her more deeply and made his passion flame.
Kyrian wanted to keep kissing her. He wanted to take her and relive the night they had just spent together. But he knew that if they were going to succeed at anything, they couldn't spend all their time making love, no matter how good the idea sounded. Kyrian smiled when Alyssa kissed is cheek and straightened his collar. "Lead the way, my love." He said with a smile, know that even though they were embarking on a dangerous mission, they would come out okay in the end. They had each other, and they had their love. With that, they would make it through anything. Any danger that came their way, any problem or misfortune, they could handle it. Kyriand held Alyssa's hand in his as they left what Kyrian had always known, where he had lived and stayed, and embarked on their adventure.

Kyrian smiled. "Of course we can get anything you need." He said. He wasn't sure where they were going, but whatever she wanted to get from her home, they could get. They would probably need the rest anyway. It was most likely going to be a long trek to the place they were going. If they were going to be safe enough from Dante, that's what they had to do. "It'll be okay. We can get your stuff. And we can rest at your place, because we will probably need it." He said with a small smile and a kiss on her forehead.
Kyrian was surprised at her reaction to the news that Dante meant to murder her the first chance he got. She didn't flinch, or even show fear. Kyrian knew that it wasn't as simple as not letting him take over. He could do that. It would be painful, but he could do it. But when it came time, Dante would win. Kyrian could only fight him off for so long. That may buy them another day or so. Kyrian fell silent when she kissed him. "Alyssa, you know its not that easy. When I'm with you, Dante goes away. And vice versa. So if he takes over, and finds you, I won't be able to do anything." He said, the words evil and dark as they fell from his lips.
Kyrian was happy that Alyssa was agreeing to flee this place with him. He knew it was the only option. She didn't move as he drew the sword. She kept surprising Kyrian. He thought that it would frighten her. It should. This sword was expertly made with dark iron. His father forged this sword for him a many decades ago. It was a cold, dark blade made for one purpose. Protection and death. He always sort of hated how dark the blade was, though it seemed to fit its purpose. Kyrian would never use this blade if it wasn't necessary. He thought it was a thing of power, and could be to easily used for evil. That is why he always hid it. So Dante didn't find it. He could do a lot more damage with it. As he placed the blade in her hand she seemed to wield it easily. That was the perk of the blade. It some how adjusted itself to the wielder so the wielder could better kill with it. This truly was a evil blade. But desperate times came for desperate measures.
Kyrian was not surprised at her reaction this time. He knew what she would say to that. He sighed and picked up the sword and sheathed it again. He shook his head and walked to her. "Love, calm down and listen to me." He said, wrapping her in his arms. He thought about his next words carefully. He wasn't inclined to upset her further. He held her as the tears fell from her beautiful eyes. "Alyssa, I'm not asking you to kill me. Besides, you can't." He said, trying to jog her memory. He was immortal, it wouldn't kill him. "I was only saying that if he found you, stab him." He said, knowing how that sounded. It sounded better in his head. "What I am trying to say," He said with a little laugh at himself, "it will stop him. It'll make him pass out for a while. Long enough for the sun to come up and me to come back." He said, hoping he was making the idea clearer. The idea was to incapacitate Dante long enough to keep him away from Alyssa. "Listen, lets just hope it doesn't come to that." He said, kissing her head, abandoning that conversation.
Kyrain kissed her deeply, trying to calm her. He brought her closer to him, and eventually broke the kiss and enveloped her in a big hug. "I am sorry for upsetting you." He said softly. Then in a attempt to cheer her up, he lifted her a bit and spun her around in the hug, then setting her down and kissing her again. He brought a hand up on her face and kissed her harder, his tongue breaking her soft lips to explore her mouth once again. The flavor was sweet, and he loved it. He ran his hands down her slim body to her waist. He couldn't seem to break this kiss. And he didn't want to. Maybe it was just the memory of this place taking over him. But the kiss was magical and passionate, like the ones they shared in this same place the last night. He only hoped they could share last night again. Relectently he broke away from her lips slightly,
"We may want to be on the move to your house." He said, hoping that didn't sound like he was trying to get into bed with her again. Though he wouldn't shoot the opportunity down if it presented itself again. "Where do you come live, my love?" He said, all his cares gone and his voice quiet and happy again.

Sure thing Becca! :)

Hopefully some more can be added. If anybody would like something created because they thing it could be a very good edition to the map, message me or your head mod Bam. Or both.
Also, thank you Bam for making me a mod and giving me the permission to make new threads. :D

Kyrian took in a deep breath and let it out slowly to calm himself. Though at this moment, a little overreaction was justified. Kyrian would not let Dante kill her. He plotted to himself, vowing to fill Alyssa in later. Once they got away from here. A change of scene would at least confuse Dante enough if they didn't get to killing him before the two days he had were up. Getting away from here was only step one. There was much work to be done.
At first Kyrian silently laced her dress. It was easy enough. Once he had finished he kissed her cheek. "I'm sorry, love. We just have to leave. Somewhere that isn't here. Dante is...never mind what he is, just trust me. I promise I will explain everything once we are away from here and safe." He said, hugging her tightly and kissing her cheek again. He took her hand because he knew if they got separated again, Dante could have time to plot or even force himself in. Kyrian walked with her a bit into the forest to a tall oak tree. The biggest tree in the forest. He let go of her hand and investigated the tree for a moment. He walked around it until he found a rock that the tree seemed to grow around at its base. He stomped down on the rock and a secret compartment in the tree was revealed. He looked at Alyssa and smiled. He always felt proud of himself for remembering were this was. Kyrian reached in and pulled out a sword. It was a long, black iron sword, concealed in a midnight blue sheath. He placed it around him and on his back. With one hand he unveiled the blade, turning it in his hand slowly. With a swift movement he spun quickly, the sword burring into the tree. He smiled, glad he still had his swordsmanship skills and the blade was still sharp. He removed it and placed it back in its sheath. He walked over to Alyssa and looked her in the eyes. He did not know how his eyes looked, but he could see that she was scared and confused. Though, so was Kyrian.
He reached down and grabbed Alyssa's hand. "Is there anything you need before we depart?" He asked her softly. "We most likely won't be coming back here." He said sadly. This place was his home, and he loved it dearly. But with Dante wanting blood, he had to do his best to keep Alyssa safe, without being separate from her. He sighed. He didn't like moving. He didn't like the whole situation, but this was something he had to do. To keep Alyssa safe. He walked with Alyssa back to where they first met. The memories were amazing here. It was even harder to leave this place now. He thought that Alyssa and his self would make a home here. But just like that, the dream was being uprooted. He realized how this must be making Alyssa feel. This was all happening so quickly, it must be scary and confusing for her. He felt bad for not telling her what was happening earlier.
"Love, we have to leave because Dante is after you. Some how, we've angered him. And he won't stop at just hurting you." He said in a deep, sad voice. "If we can't stop in before he comes back, he could kill you. " He walked over to her and kissed her head. "If we can't stop him, the best we can do is confuse him. Put him in a place that he isn't familiar in." His voice softer and more soothing. He wasn't letting on how scared he actually was. In that moment he realized where they had to go. The most confusing, dangerous place he knew.
The Dark Everglades.
"We have to go the Dark Everglades. It is the only place you can be safe if we can't figure out how to kill him before the days are up." Then Kyrian was questioning himself. He couldn't help wonder what would happen if Dante did find Alyssa in the swamp. She would be at his mercy. No. He could be stopped. Temporary, but stopped nonetheless. He stepped back and withdrew his sword. He placed in gently in Alyssa's hand.
"If he finds you. Stab him in the chest."
