Okay! So say.... Fridays to Tuesday? That's five days in total. Should we do a poll for four or so that they want an then the top pick will be for that prompt that weekend.
So I was looking around and the poll for the day that everyone wants the writing prompts announced is Friday\Saturday \Sunday. I'm going to have to go with Friday. Seeing as then it will give everyone the weekend. Maybe we can do it for... say. five days or so? Gives them time to write and prefect anything that needs editing. What you guys think?
Maybe you could try lighting candles or something while you write, or listen to music really low. Or go out an find something that inspires you before you start writing. Seeing as I find that helps sometimes if I'm in a slump of 'really? did I just write that?'. It doesn't always work but it does help sometimes. Plus the more you write no matter how good it is now it's still helping you to get better.
Do you like it while you write it but then don't like it once you go back and re read it? Seeing as you can always go back and fix things later on.
I think a poll would answer it quicker. Plus then we'll have a solid idea on how many actually roleplay.
That could work... But how would we 'cast' people into the parts? Put up questions on why they want to play this part for each and then pick the one that we think would make the most since and think has the best shot at playing the charter well?
I think it might be able to work. Would it be book-based? Seeing as I don't think that we should add a folder for roleplays seeing as that could get out of hand. But maybe pick a few books that everyone likes then they can vote for the one that they want that month or so and then we can roleplay it one at a time?
Lol thank you! I've thought about doing it in the past but something always gets in the way. Maybe this year...
This is a place where Mods come to talk about problems within the group, new ideas that we may be thinking of putting up, or to agree to something as a group without sending out tons of messages.
Could you possibly post a link to it so that others can find it without going on a world wide search for it?
I'm writing a ghost story in the third person. Seeing as if you will. I'm only typing the story while my charter is dictating it to me. I'm not really sure where it's headed yet but it's interesting. My other is about a princess that comes into herself when she gets sucked into our world from her own and then must go back to safe her kingdom.
Hi, I'm Cassie. I like reading mostly YA horror and mystery. Although I enjoy a light an fluffy read every now an then sometimes I'll branch out an read other things. I'm writing many things lately. Although the newest thing I'm starting to work on is His Tale to Tell. It's a ghost story told from his point of view and about what's going on right now. It's actually a very bad discribtion of it but it's good. My other one is about werewolves. But I haven't added anything on that in years now. Right now however. I'm reading The Book of Lore, along others.
