And, also, people say things like "the late to mid 1900s" when talking about Steampunk.This isn't pointless; it is factually advised.
1900s is 19th Century, because there was no year or Century 0 A. D.But, a lot of people say other wise.
Hm...maybe I am wrong. That is just what I have been taught.
A lot of people have arguments over simple things, like which day is the first day of the week.
It is because there was no 0 A. D., so we are all on century ahead. So, although the 1900s sounds like 1900 - 1999, it is actually 1800-1899.
1900s=19th Century=1800-1899.20th Century=1900-1999.
21st Century=2000-2099.
I mix them up all the time, as well.
In the introduction thread, please.Maybe, eventually, modern times will become the fantasy norm, and Steampunk will become... Electropunk?
