Why do you like this one best of the trilogy? I confess that I was very frustrated by The Fellowship of the Rings because it seemed like the characters were lost in the woods for 1/3 of the novel, about to be discovered or getting high with sylvean hippies. I really wanted them to just move on in the plot.

J.K. Rowling did an excellent job making us readers feel like we grew up with the characters. The number of years it took to publish the books (and release the movies) means that we truly did age at about the same rate.

I did not know this was a book. Is the movie of the same name based on it? I loved the movie, but usually I believe books that came first are better.

I know these books are quite popular. They sound like enjoyable, easy reads.

Many people have trouble tracking the characters in part because of the society's rules on calling people by their titles. Ex: Miss Bennett is only Jane until she is married. Her younger sisters are called Miss Elizabeth, etc.

Look over your writing before you post. You have run-ons and sentence fragments.

Read over your posts when you are done to look for disjointed (bumpy) writing. For example, you could shorten the first sentence to avoid repetition.
