721 Hello Fres and welcome to the group.
721 Are there any members interested in classical music? Specifically human voice. Anything from Basso Profundo to Soprano and everything in between. If there are, have you ever sat in an empty room with a top notch sound system with the volume turned up to a ridiculous level and waited for the sound to envelope you. I did this morning. I was home alone and couldn't resist. I set my classical playlist to shuffle and waited. In the middle of my settee, I dropped my head back, spread put my arms along the top of the settee and waited for the first note. The first track was Andrea Bocelli's rendition of Jules Massenet's, "werther pourquoi me reveiller". There comes a point when Bocelli hits a note that is so pure and he holds it for so long that time becomes suspended. My chest tightened and tears ran down my cheeks. I had to played the piece ten times before I was sated.
Has anyone else experienced this phenomenon or do I need help:-)
Please, if you get chance listen to this work and give me your opinion.
Sorry, I know that this is a reading group but the music was so moving I just had to share.

721 Hi all I'm Rob. I am cursed with OCRD. For the uninitiated, that's, Obsessive Compulsive Reading Disorder. But I'm happy with my madness.
Happy to be here and looking forward to some friendly discussions.
As for friendly discussions, Sally906 do I know you? You sound like my female alter ego, A Good Book And A Glass Of Wine, this is a marriage made in heaven.
