Jessi’s comments from the CASTING CALL: CHARACTERS WELCOMED group.

If any of you are like me then you have lists [ex. fav characters, top alpha males, top alpha females, favorite witches, favorite vamps, favorite shifters, fav secondary characters, fav books, fav series, fav author, etc). Well here's the challenge to end all challenges [I believe anyway].

There are only 3 rules:
1st: You have 2 years to complete this challenge. ex: start: October 1, 2012 - end: October 1, 2014

2nd: There are no repeats with the books. There have to be a total of 210 different books when your list is complete (which is where the challenge comes in at).

3rd: No backdating. The list is based on books read starting the day of your challenge.

This challenge is so big I created a folder (Ultimate Book-A-Holics Challenge) just for it where you will create your own thread consisting of just your challenge. Your thread topic should look like this... Ultimate Book-A-Holics R’ Us Challenge – YOUR NAME HERE

Well Jax join us for the October challenge

I thought so especially because now-a-days so many people associate Smut with Erotica and the first reaction I've heard associate with that word is "oh geez! why are we talking about erotica"... Hell someone could read The Hollows series and have enough books for (a) & (c) alone.

The best part is that some of your monthly challenges will probably have book you can fit into this one

What's one more challenge? I've decided to do my own 2012 personal challenge to this group as just a strictly yearly challenge...The original post is in "The Challenge Factory" Yearly Challenge folder.

This is an A-Z series challenge. If you want to join you can. I thought it would be a fun challenge to share.

There's only 3 rules:
1. You have to read the first or most recent book in the series
2. Q, X, Y, & Z can be any letter in the series title.
3. "The" & "A" doesn't count for T or A. If a series starts with "The" or "A" then use the next word. Example: The Hollows can count for H but not T.

For those of you who really love a challenge...You can increase the difficulty of the challenge by doing 2 books per series &/or 2 series per letter

Oct 30th: Devil's Night & Mischief Night - Read a book that has Devil in the title, takes place or visits a version of hell, or has imps in the book causing trouble somehow.

Oct 31st: Samhain & All Hallow's Eve - Read a book that has an event(s) that take place during All Hallow's Eve, features Celtic mythology, or was published by Samhain Publishing

Nov 1st: Dia de los Muertos(Day of the Dead) - Read a book that features the dead walking or floating around. **Whichever book you read for this theme will also count towards November's challenge**

Black, Orange, & Jack O'Lantern - Read a book that has a black or orange cover, features a pumpkin or lantern on the cover, or has a character with the first name Jack or the last name starts with O'

Masquerades & Disguises - Read a book in which there is a costume/masquerade party, the character goes undercover, or features a mask on the cover.

Now the questions are: Why do you think Death is the one for our lovely Alex Craft? What is it about Death that makes him a better choice than Falin? What makes him the worst choice(for those who voted for Falin)? What are your favorite moments with Death?

In our 2nd Supernatural Showdown winning by a landslide (leaving poor Charles & Anna on the ground choking on their dust **tear,tear**) is Raphael Medrano & Andrea Nash.

So you lovely characters tell me and everyone else... Why do you love this couple so much? What about them makes you want to be on their team or have them fighting by your side? And in the process we can discuss Gunmetal Magic and what you loved(hated or felt indifferent) about it...

The battle of our Supernatural Showdown between the Elemantal Assassin Cast & the Chicagoland Vampires Cast was so close but ultimately Merit, Ethan, & the rest of the Chicagoland gang slayed the competition.

So now that you've chosen tell me and everyone else why you love the Chicagoland Vampires cast of characters so much. What is it about them that just puts them out in front of the "other guys"? Who is your favorite C.V. character?Why?

This month's challenge is all about Shifters.
For this challenge you have to read 5 books(or 95+ page novella) featuring the following type of shifters: Dragon, Wolf, Cat, Bear, & Vampire.
**For the Vampire-shifter it can be anything they turn into (a lamp, a post-it, Vin Diesel, etc) as long as they change into something different then they count as a shifter.**

Have fun with this one & remember it's one book per shifter-type.
