71717 It was a very middle of the road book, I was expecting them to actually focus on well known conspiracy theories. I was rather happy as to whom the eponymous Mr Blank was, I wasn't expecting that in the least. I will say it was refreshing for the main character to be afraid of guns/weapons and prefer to never hold them.

71717 I've read both the Sisters Brothers and Red Country already, I liked the latter more but then again, I really like Abercrombie.

How about Mr. Blank by Justin Robinson. I've heard it's supposed to be a good conspiracy theory (fiction) book.

71717 I finished it a bit ago and liked it a lot. I wasn't a fan of the first setting but loved it after that.

71717 I liked the book a lot, I thought the ending was a little on the abrupt side. I know what the author was going for, I just wanted more.

I'm having trouble figuring out my favorite story, it's either the one with Frobisher or Sonmi, though I'm leading towards the latter. The exploration of what a soul is was done so well in that time-frame and the mental images I got from some of the fucked up shit was great as well.

I told Brian this but after reading the book I immediately want to see the movie that's coming out recently, I want to see how it brings the books to life, not only visually but with the slightly changed format they do for the movie.

71717 I just finished it last night and liked it, though I felt it ended rather abruptly. Loved Jones' last line as well.

71717 I put in power of the Dog. Every book of Winslow's I've read has been great and I thought I'd put up one I haven't read yet.
