Mikhail looked up at Roalene. He knew that he had to protect her, It was his fault that she was even in danger. He would do everything with in his power to keep her safe. He just had to.

Mikhail looked at his hands, not sure what to say now.

Mikhail shook his head no.

"Yeah, but it's my fault that it's happening now." he said "and I can't let you get even more hurt then you already are because of me" he said "I'm not going to let anything happen to you" he said firmly.

"No" he said "but it's my fault that your in danger now" he said

"Oh" he said looking back down at his hands.

A look of confusion crossed over Mikhail's face "Dark angel?" he asked confused.

"Yeah but I owe you for taking him in the first place." he said sadly. "If I never took him, you wouldn't be in this situation."

Mikhail shook his head "No I'm the one who has been cruel." he said. "and I owe you because of the cruelty"

"At least I will have gotten what I deserve" he said. He didn't know how else to put it, that just what he thought. "I give you my word that I will do everything in my power to protect you." he said looking up at her. He looked back down at his hands and said "It's the least I can do."

Mikhail looked back down at his hands "I'll protect you" he said firmly.

"He would never think that" Mikhail said honestly. "And whether or not I killed him doesn't matter, I put you through a lot, and it's my fault that they will be after you anyways" Mikhail said

Mikhail shook his head "No really, after what I put you through I deserve what ever would happen to me." he said honestly. Thought he felt about the situation.

Mikhail frowned "Don't say that" he said. Mikhail thought a moment "Well since it's my fault why don't i protect you guys?" Mikhail said more as a question then a statement.

Mikhail didn't know what to say, he just looked back up at Roalene, He was so sorry for what he put her through and now it was his fault that she was going to end up dead. What was he supposed to do. "Why not move?" he asked. "Or I don't know quite" he said. Then added "I'm sorry."

Mikhail nodded his head slightly.

Mikhail looked up at Roalene and frowned how did she find him, he wondered "Sure" he replied and looked back down at his hands.

Mikhail still hadn't moved from the corner, though he had stopped crying his cheeks were still stand from his tears.

Mikhail just sat in that corner for a while not sure what to do.

Mikhail couldn't kill the man laying unconscious on the floor. He felt guilty just thinking about it. He knew that if he killed that man he'd never be able to live with himself. So he wrote a note

Dear, Roalene

I'm sorry for everything. I now I said that I never break my word but write now I have to. As much as it breaks my heart to say this, I can't kept my promise to Lexi. I can't kill your father, I just couldn't do it. I'm sorry for everything I put you through.

Mikhail put the note in his pocket and picked up Roalene's father. He ran him over to his house and set him door on the door step. He rang the door bell and waited until he heard someone almost to the door before he ran off back to his place.

When he got back to his place he sat in the same spot and in the same way as he had been before he took her father back. As he sat there he thought about Lexi and everything he's done in the last five years and he began to cry.
