70701 Remarkable how you let the character reveal his true soul, Jason. At first he seems so unbelievably friendly and hospitable. I was looking for the transition point, but you have done it so gradually and stealthily, that it's hard to put the finger on it!

70701 I agree--the main character must be flawed, this adds to the depth of the character, an has to go through some profound change, otherwise the story reads like a fairy tale (which has its place in children's literature.)

I agree, because when I read a book I bring it to life so much better than it appears on screen...
