PS. I forgot. I am also the author of Tale Spinner, a science fiction novel.

It sounds like you are having fun and enjoying life. My wife, Marlene and I live on the high desert of southern California. We live in Hinkley, the town made famous from the Airn Brocovich movie about the poision water. I am the author of Thunder Road, a biker action adventure story, Monroe's Paranormal Investigations, a collection of werewolf, vampire and zombie stories and the Cave Man action adventure series. They are mainly biker/ paranormal/ action stories. My wife and I are members of our local chapter of the American Cruisers motorcycle club. The cruisers is a family friendly club, not the 1 % type. We do toy runs at Christmas and help out at the local veteran's home. So that's what I do. I have always loved to read, which lead to my writing and I started riding motorcycles again in 2002 and I havn't looked back since. I'm glad we connected on goodreads and I enjoyed our messages.

Hi. I'm glad you stopped by to ask. First of all, I don't have much time to write. I work during the day and sit down at the computer about 8:00 PM. I spend an hour networking, trying to promote my books and then I spend an hour doing the actual writing. Sometimes on the wee ends, I spend more time writing. It's hard to balance, work, writing and family time. When I start a new story or novel, I try to write at least 250 to 500 words a day until I finish. I don't worry about editing or anything like that, until I'm finished, all though I do spell check after each writing session. When I am finished with a project, I set it aside for a while and move onto something else. If its a short story, maybe a few days. If it's a novel, a couple of weeks or more. Then I go back and edit. I look for places where I could use better description, more action, I try to show and not tell. Then when I think I have it as good as I can get it, I give it a final read, and still find mistakes. Sometimes I print a hard copy and use a red ink pin. Sometimes I have a cup of coffee or something cold to drink while I'm writing, but not always. I think with writing, you have to just do it. Thanks for posting.

I have immersed myself in the biker culture for the past ten years. I am a member of a family friendly motorcycle club. I ride a Harley Davidson Road Glide and I also own a Triumph Bonneville America. In this thread, I look forward to answering any questions you might have about motorcycles, bikers, or biker fiction. I also look forward to hearing about you. Do you ride? if so what kind of bike do you own?

In this thread, I look forward to answering your questions about my favorite writers, books and influence. I also look forward to hearing about your favorite books and writers.

Mike McDonald, a Persian Gulf War vet, wakes up from a coma and can't remember his own name. With the help of his former friend and pastor, Mike recovers his memories and regains his strength, but a burning hot cauldron of anger boils up with in and he goes to war with the outlaw motorcycle club that raped and killed his wife, leaving him for dead.

I am looking forward to any questions you might have about my writing habits and my writing process.
