Oh, I've been really wanting to re-read that series! Is it just as good the second time around?

I'm reading A Thousand Splendid Suns. So heart-wrenching, but beautifully written.

The Blind Assassin was my first introduction to Margaret Atwood and I would agree with Laura: it was one of the best books I've ever read. A little confusing at first, but so rewarding if you stick with it to the end.

Then I read The Handmaid's Tale probably about a year ago. I really felt like I was missing the point with this one, like she was trying to make some statement about society that I just didn't get. I'll be interested to read what everyone else says about it.

I bought this recently, but haven't opened it yet. Based on all of your comments, maybe I should move it up to the top of the TBR pile...

I actually bought the book after seeing Capote. It's a very good movie.

Hello everyone. I just joined. I'm 24 and love to read. I recently graduated from school and am loving the extra time I get to spend with my books! :)

I don't think I could possibly name a favorite author or book - I love so many!

I loved this book! It actually caused me to laugh out loud while reading it. I'm a huge Neil Gaiman fan, but have yet to read anything by Terry Pratchett. I received The Color of Magic for Christmas and am hoping to start that one soon.
