I know this will probably sound strange, but we were studying various beliefs of Catholicism and their origins in our Bible study class tonight, and Written in Ashes came back to my mind. I was able to look up the history notes at the end of the book and share some of the information about Hypatia, St. Catherine, and Cyril of Alexandria. Isn't it amazing when things like that happen? Who would have dreamed I would be sharing this at a Bible study?
